Sorry Yeb.. your wrong again as usual. The Reason for Trump is that Bush Republicanism, which your father started in 1998 and took the republican party over with, is a complete and utter failure. It’s run by corrupt losers and incompetence.

Obama was a great demonstration of the power of the media over ignorant people, especially in his re-election. Our only solace is to watch his core supporters kill and be killed in droves in the communist utopias they voted to create.

The media created that environment (where criticism would be silenced with the “racist” label); now they are enraged because some dare to openly support Trump, despite his non-PC positions.

Jeb is starting to line up his excuses for his inevitable failure.

Forgetting Jeb being a dweeb, the truth is that Trump is a sign that American Conservatives have given up on working within the system.

For 100 years the Democrat Party has had one populist after another. Unfettered by any adherence to the Constitution, the rule of law, or the concept of individual liberty.

The last Republican populist president was Teddy Roosevelt. And despite a rose colored rear view mirror of history, Teddy took many an extra-Constitutional action.

Trump isn’t a Constitutionalist. If taken at his word (which has recently changed on many issues), Trump is indeed looking to be the anti-Obama.

For years I have had the same discussion with quasi fascist Leftists. I point out that their actions are un-Constitutional, they quibble about it, but eventually settle on the line that they simple don’t care. They want what they want, the Constitution be damned. To this I have always ended the conversation with, “The Constitution exists to prevent civil war, but if living in a civil society with you isn’t possible then I plan on being in charge.”

What we have always seen from the Left is anti-Constitutional populism. It is the reason that Democrats are called Democrats. They ram through what they want, abuse their political enemies via the bureaucracies, and laugh at the laws they break. What I think we are now seeing with the popularity of Trump is that a large number of Republicans would rather have their populist than the Leftists populist, and if we cannot have the Constitution and the rule of law, it only makes sense.

I’m still backing Cruz, and I don’t trust populists to be faithful to any vow, but I’m not at all shocked by the popularity of Trump. Being unfettered by ideological limitations, such as “all men are created equal” which prevents Republicans from such pandering as affirmative action, Trump can and will scoop up voting blocks in the same method as Democrats. Stop trying to fight Federal control of everyone’s daily lives, and fight to be the one in charge of making the decisions.

Constitutional adherents, and I count myself as one, may have just become a small 3rd party.

IRONY: (I-ron-y) n. When Obama claims “It’s Bush’s Fault” for so many years, and a Bush comes back with “It’s Obama’s Fault”.

Yep. The natural follow-up inquiry is, “who allowed Obama?”

About 6 or 7 years ago I made similar comments about Bush and really got blasted here. There was a site several years ago called “Free Conservatives”, no one dared criticize Bush at all, period.

I think the people have come to realize Pres Bush’s progressive administration was worse than than Bill Clinton’s. I say this because he did nothing to push back Clinton’s agenda, and with the things you listed, he actually made it worse. And he set the stage for obama’s election.

“ because he has thoughtful views approved by lobbyists and crony capital ... he seeks out advice from these bosses ... he knows what he doesn't know, which is just about everything, and has the ability to recognize that ... he seeks out best advice he can get from other RINOs ... and he knows how to put the blame for his failure on others! ”

Hey kids...make some room for Jeb!

Iraq was a big mistake. It was a George Bush mistake and the people that advised him to make that big mistake are the same people advising Jeb Bush. Jeb mocks Trump for getting his intel briefings from “the shows” or whatever but I think Jeb is the one that should be mocked for getting his intel briefs from the same people that gave his brother intel briefs.

Finally, Jeb gets something right. This will not help him though. His campaign is over. Has been for weeks.

“Jeb Bush blames Barack Obama for the rise of Donald Trump”

Let’s not forget, old man (read my lips) Bush brought about womanizer Bill Clinton, and GW (who NEVER vetoed a bill) brought about the worst and anti American POTUS Obama.

So Jeb it’s time to take a friggin hike!

If you discount the first two years of Clinton’s presidency when the Democrats controlled both Houses of Congress, and the last two years when Clinton was just a useless parody and a buffoon in the White House, you could make a strong case that he actually governed as a more conservative chief executive than George W. Bush.
