If you are white, and you are reading this letter, I ask that you don't run to seek shelter from your own racism. Don't hide from your responsibility. Rather, begin, right now, to practice being vulnerable. Being neither a "good" white person nor a liberal white person will get you off the proverbial hook. I consider myself to be a decent human being. Yet, I'm sexist. Take another deep breath. I ask that you try to be "un-sutured." I can see your anger. I can see that this letter is being misunderstood. This letter is not asking you to feel bad about yourself, to wallow in guilt. That is too easy. I'm asking for you to tarry, to linger, with the ways in which you perpetuate a racist society, the ways in which you are racist. I'm now daring you to face a racist history which, paraphrasing Baldwin, has placed you where you are and that has formed your own racism. Again, in the spirit of Baldwin, I am asking you to enter into battle with your white self. I'm asking that you open yourself up; to speak to, to admit to, the racist poison that is inside of you.

“Racism” is the act of drawing conclusions about others based on their race/ethnicity.

But somehow Yancy’s judgments about me are not called “racist” even though all his conclusions are rooted in it.

Just as his conclusions about black people are also racist.

A professor at Georgetown is complaining that people like him can’t make it in racist America?

And even though white people are “privileged” in 2015, the New York Times still would never post a column written by a white guy titled “Dear Black People”, because that would be racist.

In summary, here are the raw statistics for general violent crime Black-on-White and White-on-Black crime from the National Crime Victimization Survey (the branch of the DOJ responsible for collecting these statistics) here are the raw results for 2010:

If you normalize the statistics to take into account the relative sizes of the populations, Here are the numbers that reflect the real magnitude of Black-on-White versus White-on-Black VIOLENT ASSAULT crime:

Furthermore, if you narrow the statistics shown above on violent assault (GENERAL VIOLENT ASSAULT) to a specific type of violent assault (IN THE CASE BELOW, VIOLENT AGGRAVATED ASSAULT) , the statistics that Black-on-White versus White-on-Black VIOLENT ASSAULT crime take on an entirely different magnitude:

When one looks at these statistics, one can only reach the same conclusion that Bill Whittle did in his video:
"Oh, there's an epidemic of racial violence in America, all right."

Bill Whittle further accurately states:
"Critics will say that I am using these statistics to justify the murder of Michael Brown. But I said at the beginning-if Michael Brown were shot in cold blood then the police officer needs to pay the price for murder. This has nothing to do with Michael Brown. This has EVERYTHING to do with the narrative that the President, the Attorney General, and all of these race hustlers are trying to create using Michael Brown."

As George Yancy (shown above) states, there is, in fact, a racial war of violence and hatred in America with strongly held prejudices and racial hatred that is expressed in open violence. But whites in America are not responsible for it, as George Yancy insists in his opinion piece.

Bill Whittle accurately frames this issue, and states in his video: "Open racism is simply not tolerated in white America today, but black racism is the toxic glue that holds the progressive coalition together. Tolerance of – in fact, as we see from the events in Ferguson, open encouragement of black rage at a narrative that not only does not exist but reverses the daily outrages that do exist, is what defines modern progressivism. It is the politics of envy, anger, entitlement, lawlessness, violence and bald-faced lies.

And of all the promises broken by this man, surely none is more heartbreaking than the one promise that got him elected in the first place: the promise of a post-racial future. He and his racist progressive cohorts can never surrender the weapon that has gotten them everything, not the least of which is personal political power and trillions of dollars of redistributed wealth. It seems many black journalists are obsessed with whites admitting their racism. Clearly, they believe if only whites would stop being nasty racists, black lives would increase 100% for the better.

The cruel truth is that white racism is maybe responsible for about 1% or less of the position and problems of blacks in America.

The great tragedy is the numbers of blacks who still believe white racism holds them back. In reality, blacks hold themselves back. Until they realize that great (and terrible) truth (and I'm not holding my breath), they will not improve themselves.

IN all societies that are falling apart because of propaganda, 90% of the bad guys don't know they are the bad guys. Via the sin of pride, they have fallen victim (to their own thinking - it's called 'being drunk on your own thinking) to seizing on ideas as true simply because it would be nice, at that moment, if they were true. History explains the fact that for centuries Anglo White Europens have dominated and developed math, art, music, literature, the social sciences, medicine, the hard sciences, invention, law, just to name some. It also helps explains American exceptionalism.

Europeans and Anglos were the
acceptors and developers of the Greek, Roman, Judeo Christian patrimony which is thousands of years old. That patrimony has inits dna the seeds of true progress and true human equality and rights. It also carries a gene for just tolerance of the other.

To the extent other ethnics accept that patrimony they are very successful. To the extent we do not accept it or dilute it when we possess it, a people deteriorate.

We need to study that patrimony again avoiding the revisionist hatred, revive it and progress again, but it has nothing to do with whitnessor blackness or ethnicity.. It has to do with beliefs and morals and values and principles.

It must be very difficult to be black and have to explain the differences in achievement between your group and others. One goes to the moon, the other pioneers putting bones through their noses. No written language, no math, no science other than that derived from others. Even with lowered standards, hiring incentives etc, you still have difficulty successfully competing.
