Trump slams Bill Clinton for his 'terrible record of women abuse'
The Hill ^ | 12/28/15 | Mark Hensch

Posted on 12/28/2015 6:41:33 AM PST by jimbo123

GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Monday that former President Bill Clinton has a "terrible record of women abuse."

"If Hillary thinks she can unleash her husband, with his terrible record of women abuse, while playing the women's card on me, she's wrong!" he tweeted, citing Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton and her spouse.

Trump's comments mark the latest escalation of his war of words with the Clinton family over gender and sexism.

He previously accused Bill Clinton of having sexist tendencies last weekend after reports emerged that the former president plans on campaigning with his wife next year. "Hillary Clinton has announced that she is letting her husband out to campaign, but he's demonstrated a penchant for sexism - so inappropriate!" he tweeted last Saturday.

Wouldn’t know.

Of course you don't know, ya prick. You don't have the moral courage for it.

“If Bill Clinton doesn’t involve himself in the race, then he should not be a subject of criticism from Trump.”

Don’t agree.

He is part of it, always has been and always will be. He will be doing his ‘thing’ either publicly or behind closed doors, with whatever dems give him that ‘come hither look.’

“Get two for the price of one”

In 2008 I used to say nice things about someone I knew at the time. Things changed since then.

Will you support the nominee of the Republican party against Hillary Clinton?

It’s interesting, then, that Trump would say “Hillary’s a great friend of mine. Her husband is a great friend of mine. They’re fantastic people” in 2008. That’s after the Lewinsky stuff came out isn’t it?

He says this about practically everyone he has met. It's called being diplomatic.

Having worked in DC as a government relations guy, what Trump did/said is nothing more than what need be done to work with everyone. Distasteful, sure, but it is what it is.

Washington DC will not own Trump.

First, Cruz has consistently supported increased H1Bs, and it has nothing to do with Rubio. I can get the quotes if you like. In fact, he had to go into consultation with Sessions, and he came out with a ‘new plan’ that Sessions helped him put together, AND it repudiates his old position. I’m not blind. I read his amendments during the immigration reform debate, and I argued on this forum that he was only offering a poison pill, and then just a few months ago he cut my legs out from under me when he recommitted to increased H1Bs while citing research showing that such visas enhanced and increased American jobs.

Conservatism as I described it is NOT reactionary, but is instead thoughtful and able to move forward. It preserves that which is truly valuable and adapts it to a changing culture, rather than allowing conservatism to be some ‘living constitution’ type of changeable philosophy that we manipulate to do what we want it to do.

I don’t care what any state’s righter says about either gay marriage or abortion. NO STATE should be able to impose those hurtful behaviors, either, so Cruz is simply off base on their being a state’s rights issue. The first is saying it’s up to a state to decide if it wants to permit death and disease, and the other is saying a state can permit murder. It’s just a silly proposition to begin with.

And at this point, your work for Cruz IS in the best understanding of Romans 13. You are involved. That’s good.

But, if your guy loses, you don’t get to abdicate. Nor is saying “I’m not participating.” a form of participating. It is a cop out.

Thank you for your insults. Being insulted by you affirms me in what seems like misapplied drudgery.

I know. That’s why, as a rule, I don’t usually post post anything after the first page on a thread about Trump with any pretense of being convincing. I know that Trump supporters will not be swayed by any reason. I do; however, enjoy answering their childish insults.

Only if it’s Cruz. I’ve stated why in post 86 of this thread. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3377321/posts?page=86#86

I find my logic is sound and I don’t know why conservatives keep voting for the Lesser Of Two Evils. Possibly normalcy bias.

That’s a fine metaphor, but let’s deconstruct it. You’re playing ball with some kids, you’re constantly playing by the rules you’ve all agreed upon, and they’re constantly changing the rules so you always loose. It’s your ball. Do you take your ball and go home? That or beat them up. Continuing to play the game is about the stupidest thing anyone can do.
