Can Jeb Bush Make a Comeback?
Wall Street Journal ^ | 1/1/16 | Joseph Rago

-snip-

As for Mr. Trump, Mr. Bush unloads. "The people following and covering the campaigns? The cable shows? They're obsessed with Trump, and all they care about is what effect this disparaging remark will have on the campaign-it's all about nothing. It changes with each week. He's Pavlov and they're the dog, basically. I've never seen anything quite like it.

Make a comeback?

To make a comeback you have to have been there. Jeb was a dud from the get-go except in his own mind and that of his adviser, Mike Murphy.

This latest desperate wish indicates the GOPe fears Marco Rubio isn’t going to win the nomination, either - and that there is no Plan C.

The Bushes have had people offed. I think it’s not nearly so many as the Clintons, but it’s a respectable number.

“The fact that they are even talking about this shows that the GOPe and ‘rats haven’t given up on their boy......”

Nothing would surprise me. The GOPe will likely still put Jebadio on their “recommended list” over Trump, doing so insure a new demodummie POTUS since who would even consider voting at all.

Our electoral system sucks and in many cases, past history has shown just that, “Here’s two losers, pick one”.

These people who write these types of articles either are propagandist or totally out of touch.

When you have over 60% of the base votes going to conservatives or people pretending to be Jeb has no come back chance. The base is tired of being betrayed and Jeb can not even pretend to be a conservative now. Votes are not going his way. Rubio has more of a chance as he is trying to pretend to be conservative(Old rino primary trick).

Frank Bank died in 2013 at the age of 71. He was quite talented, much better than many of what they call “actors” today.

He’ll have to entice “Ms. Haley” to come aboard in SC too to win there.

Frank Bank and Richard Deacon were an unlikely son-father combo, but that was pre-1964, when American decay had become the norm.

Comeback from what? Has he ever been above 3-percent?

Do you personally know of ANYONE that wants Jeb Bush?

Considering not a vote has been cast, I suppose anything is possible. This exact situation could have been used in 2012 with Romney. Nobody wanted him yet he was nominated. So Bush can still be nominated. I certainly hope not but we don’t control every vote in the country.

Remember the Twilight Zone episode where Richard Deacon was a factory manager who replaced most of the white collar workers with a computer/robot?

LOL. I was thinking Jebbie as more of a humpback, hump for short, than a comebacker.

Trump nailed him. Low energy. How do you overcome that?

Go home to Mexico Jebbie.
