You Freepers are racists for wanting to prevent this from happening.

This guy is an idiot. Many early gun and weapon prohibitions were aimed at blacks.

Evidently, Notre Dame’s standards for professor are not standards at all.

Exactly. The very first gun laws in the country were aimed at making sure slaves could not own guns.

It is racist when a white person does not allow a black person to rob, rape or kill him/her.

That's funny... I never knew that guns could differentiate skin color.
One wonders, why is it that African-Americans "live under a constant threat of gun violence," but European-Americans living under the same laws do not?
Curious.

We should not smirk at this. The mere accusation of racism has been the most successful strategy in world history for de-constructing the most powerful nation, the most prosperous nation, the freest nation, in world history.

The ‘standards’ consist of counting how many different colors there are

Notre Dame prof. calls permissive gun laws a 'manifestation of racismâThe only reason some people are still alive is that it is against the law to kill them (Mark Twain)

Most of the guns in poor Negro neighborhoods are illegally acquired and owned. Legally owned guns, if used, are used defensively. Thus it is racist to allow Negros to defend themselves with firearms. It is prima facie racist to allow non Negroes to defend themselves against Negro or Mohammedan predators. Ergo the 2Amd is racist.

If he was a professor of history, he’d know that strict gun laws were the product of racism, not the other way around.

high exposure to guns in largely poor black neighborhoods along with low restrictions on gun ownership permeates a culture of racismWhat, Chicago has low restrictions on gun ownership?
Neighboring states have too lax gun laws (yet don't have the crime Chicago has)?
Is this guy racist for insinuating blacks can't be trusted with guns?

The KKK (i.e., Democrats) were very big on keeping guns out of the hands of black people. The Democrats (i.e., the KKK) haven’t changed a bit.

Is there even ONE college professor in America who is not a flaming, ‘effin left-wing nut job?
