U.S. Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush on Wednesday ruled out a third-party candidacy should Donald Trump win the party's 2016 nomination but held tight to his belief that Trump is a "jerk" and not qualified to be president.
At a town hall meeting in New Hampshire, a questioner asked the former Florida governor whether he would launch an independent run for the White House if Trump were to win the Republican nomination for the November 2016 presidential elections.
"No. I'm not going to run as a third-party candidate, no matter who wins the nomination," Bush said. "I've been supporting Republicans since Richard Nixon."

“I’ve been supporting Republicans since Richard Nixon.”
Does that include Reagan?
If Bush were smart, he’d shut up and bow out of the race. In the name of party unity, Trump may name him Ambassador to Mexico.
I’m sure he was fondling his pocket turtle at the time, to remind him that the tortoise can win the race.
Jebbie boy, go back to mommy and daddy and start doing those really cool things you whined about.
Will he vote for Trump or Cruz if either of them are the nominee or will he vote for Hillary?
Jeb can take his non English speaking wife, and live in Mexico with the drug dealers and rapists.
Jeb can practice his Spanish lingo and pretend he isn’t a Gringo.
Jeb, dumbest of the Bush Klan.
Jeb: I’ve been supporting Republicans since Richard Nixon<p?Real support would be espousing grass roots Republican issues.
He should stick his turtle head back in his turtle shell and go the hell away. No more Bushs!
Why oh WHY is lil’ Jebbie still in the race?
To all of his family, friends, and associates will you tell him to quit right now? Thank you!
The Management
Maybe Jeb could swing a deal with Donald Trump to be ambassador to Florida. ;-)
If Jeb ran as an independent, would he get enough signatures to be on the ballot in all the states? I don’t think so!
Together, We Can Fix It!
I’m sure there are some corporations and foundations that will pay to have a Bush on their Board.
Like the Clinton Slush Fund? ;-)
“Does that include Reagan?”
I catch your drift, likely Jeb! DID vote for Reagan as Pop’s was #2 (double entendre...)
Based on what he said, he is conceding.
If he weren’t, he would have said he was going to be the nominee.
