A TIP FOR TONIGHT'S POWER BALL WINNER (vanity)
A devious mind ^ | 1/9/16 | Baynative

Posted on 01/09/2016 6:45:16 PM PST by Baynative

Because I sincerely hope that someone frequenting the FRee Republic website wins the power ball drawing tonight, especially a monthly donor and because that winner will be an (almost) instant billionaire, I am offering some sound advice on how to handle the situation.

I understand that geodesic dome structures are quite strong but the choice of material to clad the framework with would have a lot to do with whether or not it would withstand a tornado. I suspect a semi dropped on it would do some serious damage even if the wind didn’t.

I read through your whole post before I saw who wrote it. No surprise, someone with smarts and common sense, consistent over the years I’ve “known” you. You have it EXACTLY right.

There was a well off man from Santa Barbara, CA who I believe was in some kind of finance. He won the lottery. Don’t remember how much, but a lot. He and his wife fixed up their house the way they wanted, each got a new (but normal) car, and each year they took a vacation where they wanted to go. Everything else was invested diversely and they kept their jobs (not sure she had a job). They just went on living the same way, but that security was peace of mind, and I’m sure it would be nice to say, “Tokyo? Let’s go this spring.”

I hope someone like you wins.

13 for the Powerball!
I bet there are multiple winners that played their kid's ages or birth dates.
And- a few million whiners too!
What a country!!!
Thanks for playing everybody.
Wondering how many second place winners?
I hope the multiplier was a good one.

Okay, thanks! That fixes it for me. I’ll just let my mother claim any lottery winnings—after all, she’s reimbursing me ten bucks for buying “her” tickets, LOL.

According to USAMega.com, they’ll announce IF there were winners and what states they were in within the next couple hours.

Until they officially announce, assume somebody won.

Someone tweeted that there were no winners. However, the official sites online are still showing “Pending”. Wait and see....
