Add to that List bravest NY firefighters during 911;
NY cops who rescued thousands from around the crash site and kept law & order;
Thousands of NY workers who removed thousands of tons of debris and rebuilt the whole area;
Father of modern conservatism; Mr William Buckley;
Mayor Giuliani who got rid of crime in NY city;
And world’s leading financial center, NY city!
I have traveled to 35 or 36 foreign countries, and the city they all want to visit is NY city.
Yes indeed there are and have been some good and solid folks in NY. But the majority is what elected a carpet bagger for Senator and a communist for mayor. How people reacted to 9/11 as a human response was splendid. While the event was much more of a shock and got world wide attention, I don't think it any different than people sand bagging flooding rivers or cleaning up after tornadoes.
Like Cruz said, "people know what NY values are". And we do, just like we know what SF values and Idaho panhandle values are. Trump's response was just as valid. But, they are talking apples and oranges.
