The GOPe beat conservatives the last two presidential elections. I think we didn't offer up a strong alternative.

Apparently they learned how to lie in a short period of time. They seen how George W talked, and won. And they see how Fox News can masquerade as conservative and be on top. And then don't forget the IRS targeting conservative groups. Nobody promised it would be easy.

I find it amazing that we actually nominated madman McCain! Sarah Palin is the ONLY reason McCain had any enthusiam behind him going into the general election. Then...Romney! A guy who was 180 degrees opposed to everything conservative until the election. Oh, but he ran as a conservative. Totally believable—NOT!

Now we have Jebbie. Don’t ask me what he was thinking. Did Mr. screw-the-base honestly think immigration pimping and Common Core were popular enough to win him the nomination? Apparently. It just goes to show how totally out of touch the GOPe really is.

Well, you have to give credit to Jebbie for one thing. At least he didn’t lie to us this election. He really is a huge immigration amnesty pimp and big government guy! Why he thought those were winning campaign positions, I don’t know, but at least we know where Jebbie stands. Funny, but very few Republicans actually seem to want to live in the United States of Mexico. What a shocker!

That's funny. I would love to know how you cheat during a debate.

Remember those accusations of GW Bush being "wired for sound" (the infamous lump under his suit jacket) so he could get help in the 2004 debates?

Well, there's no question that Trump has been doing the same thing. The technology has advanced so that it's much easier to hide the receiver now than it was 12 years ago.

What else could possibly explain why he hasn't imploded yet? He must be cheating. /sarc

Goobers. Dole, McCain, Romney. That is the face of the GOP. Frist, McConnell ... I've watched these jokers perform for quite a few year. I mean watch all that was available. The GOP is the designated loser. They LIKE to lose. Reduces accountability, responsibility, etc.

I don't find it amazing anymore. It is predictable. Trump has upset the balance/charade. I like that.

Not that the Bush’s were great in any sense of the word, but Jeb is like Ted Kennedy of the Kennedy family. Retarded.

Dole, McCain, Romney, McConnell, and the Bushes. Yeah. That’s the face of the GOPe, and it ain’t pretty! They managed to flim flam their way into power—acting conservative only long enough to win—but we aren’t buying it anymore.

What amazes me is the fact that Jeb Bush apparently thought GOPe support was deep enough to win on immigration amnesty, Common Core, and other big government solutions to all problems. He’s actually running like a Democrat, but he honestly thought that would work for him! That is amazingly out of touch with most Republican voters.

Trump, Cruz, and Carson are anti-establishment candidates, and they are pulling nearly 2/3 of the vote! I’d GLADLY take any one of those three over the Jebster!

Cruz was solidly establishment up until the 2010 Tea Party revolution. Worked for on a case for Boehner, was Bush admin official, etc. Then in 2009-10 he became a born again conservative like so many career politicians of his generation who also attached themselves to the TEA movement.

The flim-flam is operated by comparison to the alternative. Plus, elevating the values of "compromise", "diversity", "universal suffrage", and other crap that leads to the downfall of nations and civilizations.

It's [the government function] supposed to be adversarial with checks and balances, but it's in fact a parallel to pro wrestling. All fake. Even the courts are in on it.

This stuff is taught in Poli-Sci, and your tax money is used to export this flim-flam to foreign lands. Our politicians teach other countries how to run a flim-flam that is sold as "power to the people."

Just silly. You guy are tedious. ANYONE following the Reuters poll know that Trump has ebbed and flowed in a 41-38 range for months. He’s been as low as 31 in this and, on New Year’s, as high as 45.
