Conservative radio host Glenn Beck apologized for claiming that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump had voted for President Barack Obama in 2012 and 2016, saying he'd been duped by a fake tweet.
Beck was a guest on Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor" last week, making a case for why he thinks "progressive" Trump would be as big of a "monster" as Barack Obama – a case he's been making for many months.
Trump watched and responded to the show with a slew of unpleasant opinions about "dopey" Beck to a New Hampshire crowd.
When Trump denied ever having voted for the president Beck tweeted:

His show now, for months, consists of a Cruz-french-kiss 50% of the time (one long Cruz infomercial campaign ad) and embarrassingly lame, lengthy, never ending ad hominem attacks on Trump (think one hour daily of Trump hair jokes). Beck has two or three shock jock/morning zoo guys who are truly embarrassing in their sycophancy to Beck, as if their job depends upon making sure they're not the last one to stop laughing at a Beck "joke" about Trump. If Beck said, the sky is green, the rest of his morning zoo would riff for ten minutes, Glenn, you are so right, it's green and it's a beautiful green, that's so funny, you are brilliant, yuck yuck yuck.
I have always felt, throughout Beck's iterations or reinventions of himself, that he and people like him give talk radio a bad name, and unfortunately people think Beck is some kind of example of "conservative talk radio."
In a way I feel sorry for Beck. He brings the scorn on himself, but there are people out there who can’t help themselves. I think Glenn has some sort of problem.
I don’t think he’s necessarily and evil person. He just blows it over and over. Some folks don’t have the tools to keep from doing it.
I think Glenn is one of them.

2016 hasn’t happened yet.
Beck should be publicly humiliated and disavowed by every other talk radio host. This SHOULD be the end of his career.

I see people just pass along whatever comes their way as tweets, FB memes, whatever. Annoying as hell. BUT for a ‘celebrity’ who has a following in the conservative universe, and a staff who can spend a few minutes verifying what’s put out, this is totally unacceptable.
I personally gave up on Beck back in (IIRC) ‘09 when there was the 9/12 Tea Party march on the Capitol There was a massive crowd packing the Capitol grounds, and up and down Pennsylvania Avenue and Constitution Avenue .. some estimated well over a million showed up. The MSM declared the participation @ 70-80,000 and Beck went along with it, not supporting the people who’d traveled to get to the event that he’d been pimping for months. I just couldn’t watch him after that. The man is a fool.
I’d bet the farm that he never spent five minutes THINKING about politics, ideology, current events, conservative vs. liberal, history, etc., until he was almost 40 years old. He did however know by heart every lyric to every Pink Floyd song, I bet. (Not picking on Pink Floyd.)
Glen needs to fade away into the something.

What has changed is the fickle constituency, the successful leader will never change and will stick to core values

He does seem like a guy that is troubled.
There are some people that wish weren’t quite to visible to the public. Glenn is one of them.
Beck is too stupid to know he’s stupid. He has zero self-awareness. It could be that all the alcohol killed too many braincells (every bender wipes out, what, a million?) That’s not a personal attack; just keeping it real.
Both you and Beck have shown yourselves to be better men than Donald Trump, who has never apologized in his life, because he doesn't believe he has ever been or done wrong in spite of 5 party changes, 4 bankruptcies, and 3 marriages.
But Trump did say some very flattering things about Obama.
Did Amnesty Bill ask Beck why he voted for Obama?
Bill and Glen can go hand out TedCruz-Bears to illegals now.
