“He just didn’t drop the riff. He kept going. “

Rush is wrong, I timed it. Trump talked about Cruz for 35 seconds. Anyoe can check for themselves. And while you are at notice how many times Cruz hit Trump at that event, including about his age. It was a LOT more than 35 seconds.

Trump needs to be careful, if he beats Cruz he wants Cruz supporters. So don’t alienate them now.

Too late. I don't waste my vote on New York jerks.

Does Rush or many of Cruz’s supporters know this......

http://www.texasmonthly.com/burka-blog/ted-cruzs-gay-marriage-money/

“One of the first things Cruz may have to do on the campaign trail is explain to his social conservative base why in 2009, while preparing to run for state attorney general, he took more than $250,000 in campaign funds from out-of-state investment bankers who supported legalizing gay marriage.”

So about the 30,000 that showed up in Alabama and the 11,000 last week in Pensacola? Oh, that’s right, they’re there only for the entertainment...

When it gets down to brass tacks, Limbaugh will shade toward the GOPe. He did that with Specter, letting Specter tell a lie and weasel out of being beneficiary of Republican Main Street, a front group for Democrats who run in the GOP.

I don’t know of too many conservatives, and pure conservatives like Cruz claims he is that would take big time campaign bucks from queer “marriage” supporting RINOs.
Cruz did.

That’s the stuff they were too busy building the “legend of Cruz” to care about.

I know that he supposedly memorized the constitution at 13, but this stuff never came up.

But they think it’s mean to mention it now. His evangelical supporters are the types that will peel off with news like that because so much of it was keep under the rug until now.

Just like they did with the Bush DUI story.

Not sure if he is quite with Mark Levin and myself, though I hope so.

Never heard the show today, though I did say that I thought Mark Levin was speaking to other talk radio Conservatives the other day and hoped it might have a impact

Rush/Beck promoting lies.

Trashing the leading conservative voice in the country (Limbaugh)? There went your credibility.

Not this Cruz supporter. Considering that Trump is a progressive, it’s discouraging that Rush doesn’t treat him like every other progressive. I hear the dog whistles Rush employs to show that he’s not on having a Trumpgasm, but he cold really put the whole thing to bed and he doesn’t. I remember when he endorsed Fred Thompson when it was too late and Thompson dropped out a few days later.

Agree. The way Trump is going after Cruz will make it real hard to cozy up to his supporters later, should Cruz drop out.

That isn’t a campaign against Democrats, with their media arm running against you 24/7, whom will say far worse, and wont be cowed by AM talk radio and conservative blogs whining about how mean they are.

Oh no. Cruz has been the darling of the democrats and they've never said a mean thing against him. He ahs been flying under the radar. He has the GOPe on his side. Everyone in congress loves him. Trump has been his wingman. Nobody knew that Cruz was a conservative and Trump a joke? Nobody knew that Trump doesn't have to spend any money on media coverage because they were all too willing to provide it? Nobody knew the media was celebrity oriented?

Today, Rush turned his show over to a Cruz supporter and the call lasted forever. This caller stated that, as a delivery man, he was smarter than Trump. He also says he “knew” that Trump voted for Obama in 2008. Rush kept quiet about Trump endorsing McCain and raising money for him. He had to know about Trump’s actions.

Rush also said that the GOPe hated Cruz because he was “unbending” over his conservative principles. Except Cruz bent over backwards and helped Ryan role out TPA and Cruz voted for it; he voted for the Corker bill, he called for comprehensive immigration reform, etc.

Rush puzzles me with his elation over Cruz’s bogus “apologies”. I did not get to listen to his whole show, but he started the show being wowed over it, and ended his show with the same amazement over Cruz’s cunning. I’m here in Louisiana, and if a Texas millionaire walked up to me and said, “Odawg, I want to apologize to you because Louisiana Republicans voted in a Democrat governor”. Or, he could attempt to offer an equal apology for Jindal being governor for eight years. I would quickly ask him if I was supposed to be comforted by that and just how he thought that his “apology” made any sense at all since he had zero to do with any of it.

Trump was not implying that Cruz’s criticism of New York values was a criticism of 9/11 response. Trump merely used that to showcase real New York values.

“Cruz is dealing with Trump just fine, thanks. “

Not really.

He needs talk radio and conservative blogs to YET AGAIN pitch a fit and circle the wagons every time he gets in touchy situations.

The fact is that Cruz is horribly unprepared to deal with a real national campaign without this hand-holding protection. Even simple tweets leave them in a state of confusion and disarray. Where they dont know how much damage has been done because they dont take it seriously and instead chuckle it off as no big deal.

He is far too slow and isn’t media savvy, just like too many GOP candidates in past elections.

He sucked at the debate. Trump trounced him by reminding him of true New York values. And Cruz was forced into a sweaty-handed hand clap which made him look like the kid who just got sand kicked in his face at Jones Beach.
