Very true. Yeah the whole corn to fuel is really weird. Why not just use oil? I know it was the Democrats who screwed that up like they screw up everything they touch.

Scientifically speaking, oil can be refined into gasoline only blends that are more efficient, contain more BTUs, are less polluting and much less damaging to gasoline engines and modern pollution control equipment overall, than ethanol blended fuels and boutique blended fuels. More miles, less pollution and lower price.

As for the corn crop necessary for ethanol, Latino cultures and nations pay noticeably higher staple corn prices because of the reduced corn supply. Switching Iowa to food corn production would help to lower that commodity price, Iowa is highly productive. However, I do not know if Iowa would receive as much as for the subsidized fuel crop.

Trump is a vicious loser. Not a sore loser but a really mean one. Anyone who turns against him or says anything negative will see real vengeance..

He especially doesn’t like women who don’t love him.

Or being nasty to Trump.

He WILL get revenge. He might even make vicious tweets about us.

Sarah is back and I am elated. Her speech in Ames, Iowa knocked it out of the park!

“Those who think this will not turn a few votes are not tuned in very well.”

I really don’t think it’s going to make much a difference now. 6 years ago she was a big part of the GOP taking the house and picking up seats in the Senate.

She wield the kind of clout she once did. There are a lot of conservatives that won’t support Trump, her backing him won’t bring them over to him, it makes them question Palins judgement.

As far a s general election goes, Palin is poison. She can only hurt Trump, in particular in the swing states. Palins is still and extremely unpopular figure holding and over 60% unfavorable rating in polls. Independents don’t care for her and some of those Democrats Trump is trying win over will hesitant with Palin backing him now.

I think any GOP candidate is better off without Sarah Palins support.

“President Trump. We love him and the Republicans and Democrats hate him. Who ever thought a billionaire would be a man of the people?”

There is no evidence he is a “man of the people.” He is just saying all the right things while having and very liberal political past.

If Trump gets elected and actually puts out to do all the things he said he would, then maybe I will believe. Until then, he is just a blow hard narcaccist to me and I will not vote if he is nominated.

“Regardless of what Sarah intends to do in 2016, I will remain a big, big fan of Sarah Palin.” Ted Cruz

Shows the man has class. He could have turned his back on her (as so many have who she helped get elected in the first place); but he didn’t. Big plus for him.

But an endorsement from Glenn Beck? Smacks of desperation.

Trump may be coming, but probably not in uniform. Four student and one medical deferment during Vietnam saw to that.

I have been looking the other way on Sarah Palin for a long, long time.
I respect what she accomplished in Alaska, and I think the country would have been much better off is she had been part of the winning ticket in 2008.

But since she left office, it has been a long, inexorable slide into celebrity nonsense. This endorsement of Donald Trump is the last straw. Her “celebrity” status has been eclipsing her ideology more and more over the years, and with this endorsement, the process is complete. She has become the Kim Kardashian of American Politics.

Goodbye Barracuda! It was nice while it lasted!

From the comments here it shows that she still throws fear into the hearts and minds of her opponents. That wouldn’t still happen if she has become the “Kim Kardashian of American Politics”.

That was a pretty childish and asinine retort. But it helps to know just what kind of sophomoric minds are logging in to FR these days. New York values.

We’ll see.

Trump was received better than Cruz at the tea party event last weekend.

Trump talked about Cruz for 35 seconds. Anyone can check for themselves. And while you are at notice how many times Cruz hit Trump at that event, including about his age. It was a LOT more than 35 seconds.

He’s all we’ve got. I don’t trust Cruz after what little information that is being revealed. He is sneaky at best. And we don’t know enough about him yet. It is to risky to have him our nominee and then have his best friend who is gay tell us about their relationship they had. I don’t think we need to deal with that if we don’t have to. Trump is full of things that aren’t great but we know them and he has matured. That is a better outcome then the future unknown that when know will screw us badly.
