Trump mocks Cruz's plan to campaign with 'wacko' Glenn Beck

Donald Trump mocked Glenn Beck's planned appearances with Ted Cruz in Iowa in the coming days, portraying it as a "sad answer" to Sarah Palin's endorsement of his own candidacy earlier this week.

"Wacko @glennbeck is a sad answer to the @SarahPalinUSA endorsement that Cruz so desperately wanted," Trump tweeted Thursday morning. "Glenn is a failing, crying, lost soul!"

On average, US adult has the comprehension of an 8th/9th grader. That means that there are those that have comprehension above and more importantly below that of an 8th grader. The best method to reach an entire electorate is to speak in a manner that can be comprehended by the widest group.

Be careful what you wish for.

Trump is a bombastic fighter with his words but he is not consistent in his stands or opinions. No one can deny that, not even a Trump supporter.

The fact is, we’ve heard a lot of wild promises that have apparently warmed people’s hearts but we have no solid reason to believe that Trump will carry through with any of them.

Nothing in his history could prove that to anybody with a mind.

Ted Cruz on the other hand ran for the Senate and made promises. He kept them.

There’s that.

Did I say Glenn Beck is good or bad? No, I said he has problems and is a troubled man.

If you want to condemn Ted for sticking with a man who likes him and has supported him, I guess that’s what you’ll do

“I would rather hear Trump argue the issues. But he can’t seem to do that.”

I don’t think he can argue the issues, he may not understand them. I have real doubts about his understanding of our Constitution and I question his mental stability. I don’t want him “deal making” or negotiating in my behalf.

One thing Beck can do that Palin can’t is cry on demand. :-)

If you are only for nationalism you are fascist. Nationalism as a substitute in place of values and principle is no virtue. Long live the nation-state, but beware of totalitarians who promote nationalism.

I don’t think that questioning Palin’s conservatism after her strange decision is heaping scorn.

We leave heaping scorn to the Trumpster.

Make America Great Again is a PATRIOTIC Statement. Are you one of those Elites who want One World Order and the end of America?

Look, I don't dislike Trump, but "Make America Great Again" is as meaningless a slogan as "Yes, We Can!" I'm also tiring of Trump calling everyone Wacko or Loser, that's all.

Regarding your asinine comment about me being an elite who wants the "new world order:" Let me use your ridiculous logic to reply: Obama had meaningless slogans, and Trump also uses meaningless slogans - therefore, Trump will just be the 3rd Obama term.

“I keep waiting for that, but it doesn’t seem to be happening. His numbers keep going up with every petulant Twitter tantrum.
Perhaps we really have gone full Idiocracy.”

That is a serious concern of mine. I always thought the people here were extremely conservative and smart politically.

Not to criticize (big lie) but too many of Trump supporters’ posts fail to reflect much discernment or intelligence... too many mindless rants and kneejerk insults.

That only hurts the consumer, huh? Where did you suidy economics. The Citizen is both the provider and the consumer if things are working right. The provider is the person employed or enjoying his retirement from having worked hard. HOWEVER, since we are being stripped of our work force by shipping manufacturing overseas and less and less employment here in our own country, WHERE are the consumers going to get the money to continue being consumers?

So now we’re going to have the “Battle of the Wackos?”

As far as the MSM is concerned, Sarah is a wacko’s wacko.

This article belongs in the sewer pipe from which it flowed.

Obviously it hasn’t dawned on you that people who support Trump are patriots who are sick and tired of being SOLD OUT by teh elites. The establishment has to go. We don’t have control any more over those who are elected to speak FOR us. They just do whatever they want to sell out America. WE THE PEOPLE are FED UP and TRUMP is the ONLY ONE listening to us!

I don’t think that questioning Palin’s conservatism after her strange decision is heaping scorn.

I'll vote either Trump or Cruz so with that said, from what I've read since Palin's announcement (and even before), there was a ton of trash being thrown her way. The disappointed Cruz supporters went after her daughter for having two children by two different fathers. They went after her son's arrest. They went after her calling her a gold digger and making fun of her tv shows. One poster even hinted that she made money by participating in the world's oldest profession.

This has been way over the top and worthy only of David Letterman type attacks. It's been a lot more personal than just "questioning her conservatism"

Beck’s following is as big and dedicated as Sarah’s.

Trump changed the rules of this contest when he found himself losing.
