Oh wow...I’m so sorry to hear this. His comments were always on-point and genuine. Such a great dude.
Johnny was a true FReeper...a man of many talents which he shared generously. I’m sure every FReeper who interacted with him learned something significant.
Rest in Peace, dear man.

Sad, huh, lepton. Hope you are well.
Thanks for the wonderful tribute. Due to work I haven’t been on FR for a week only to find JRandom passed away. Certainly not unexpected but...
After finding out he was but 54 his accomplishments and experience made it seem as if he was much older. So, one might say he packed so much into his short life out of a need to prepare not so much for life here, but life beyond this mortal existence. God speed Johnny.
RIP, Johnny..
I am sorry to hear this, I enjoyed his posts and learned a lot of gardening tidbits from him. I enjoyed his bluntness and humor, and could tell he knew a lot about a lot of things other than gardening and cooking. I will miss him, but I know he is in a better place and has his health once again.
"JRandomFreeper" ... that's a name synonymous with FR. Whenever I scrolled down a thread and saw his signature, I would stop to read what he'd posted. He always left a good impression.
God bless and comfort his family and friends, in Jesus' Name.
I will miss his posts. I will say a prayer for his family..
RIP
I had little to add to his many contributions. He was clearly above my pay grade. RIP.
Rip jrandomfreeper. Marcella, What a good FRiend you were to him. The people here are amazing.
bttt
Marcella, still praying for you. I bet Johnny is smiling at Cruz’s victory. He started out a strong Cruz supporter from way back and recently liked Trump too. Somehow I think he would have seen through Trump though.
He will be missed. RIP.
I missed this thread until now. I enjoyed his comments and information.
God rest his Soul.
God Bless and be with all those that loved him.
Iâm very sorry to hear this!
Just saw this and so sad to hear it. He was a great Freeper and you were a great friend to him, Marcella.
So sorry to hear that.
I have tried to meet the man many times.
Loved his independence.
Rock on Jr!
Thank you for looking after him.
Prayers all around.
