FBI thwarts mass shooting at Milwaukee Masonic Temple

FBI agents have interrupted what federal prosecutors describe as a planned mass shooting at a Masonic Temple in Milwaukee, it was announced Tuesday.

Samy Mohamed Hamzeh, 23, has been charged with possessing machine guns and a silencer.

According to the criminal complaint, Hamzeh had been under investigation since September 2015. He originally planned to travel to Jordan to attack Israeli soldiers. He later changed plans to attack the Mason Temple in Milwaukee.

Hamzeh was recorded making comments about the planned attack with automatic weapons.

"They are all Masonic; they are playing with the world like a game, man, and we are like asses, we don't know what is going on, these are the ones who are fighting, these are the ones that needs to be killed, not the Shi'iat, because these are the ones who are against us, these are the ones who are making living for us like hell," he said. "Thirty is excellent. If I got out, after killing thirty people, I will be happy 100%... 100% happy, because these 30 will terrify the world."

Much conspiracist literature presents a combination of Jewish and Masonic interests that portrays the two groups as acting in concert to control the world. The "Judeo-Masonic" conspiracy was a stock villain in Nazi propaganda, as well as in European authoritarian regimes. Even the Communists picked up this theme, in Stalin's last days and to some extent in the Brezhnev era, with fulminations against "cosmopolitans", a code word for Jews. Traditional Catholic, and for that matter conservative Protestant and Orthodox, opposition to Freemasonry is based upon the universalist implications of the movement, more so in the Grand Orient Lodge of France and its affiliates in Europe and Latin America than in Anglo-American Masonic lodges. These implications are that people can be justified by their good works, which would indicate no need for a Savior. Additionally, anticlericalism in historically Catholic nations like France, Italy, Spain, and Mexico was associated with Masons.

Islam is also a "good works" religion, so opposition to Grand Orient Masonic universalism would not be an issue.

Actually there were “loopholes” in the Chinese exclusion act that permitted family members and “selected” others to immigrate. Not even remotely correct. There may be Middle Eastern symbolism in the Shrine, but that’s because it was considered “exotic” when the Shrine organization was founded in the 1920s.

Otherwise, Shriners are no more Islamic than any other Mason.
