My bet is that the vote swing isn't so large; Reuters' quality control is pretty bad. But Freepers should know that Drudge's constant citing of Reuters rolling poll cherry-picks the good news for Trump, and includes people who have no intention of voting for Republicans.

This poll is obviously a LIE as it doesn’t have TRUMP on top! Even the Zogby poll had Trump TIED with Hillary! TIED! They even provided numbers for EVERY OTHER CANDIDATE and showed that TRUMP had the best numbers against Hillary. Cruz’s numbers weren’t shown because HE’S NOT AMERICAN! Zogby was *obviously* only polling for qualified candidates. Every hates Cruz so much that even the pollsters don’t want to say his name. That’s why he was excluded!

Trump doesn’t need polls! He doesn’t need debates! He transcends it ALL, like JESUS, but with better hair!

You’re only posting this because you know Cruz can’t win and you want HILLARY to win! Stop posting your loser propaganda!

Cruz beat DT in NH poll last week who asked that question by 8 points. Yeah, in NH. Last polls I checked with internals all show Cruz with the most favorable ratings. I don’t imagine his schoolboy antics today will persuade anyone to his side and he may well lose votes today. He lies about Vander Plaat, calls Cruz a liar about what pray tell? I was hoping Kelly would ask for specifics on that during the debate. His temper tantrum about Kelly. All very unbecoming. Who would back a city commissioner who acted like that? His family only.

And if pigs had wings, they could fly. It is not a one on one race. And it won’t be. Rubio is in it until the end. And there will be bitter clingers as well who refuse to get out.

That match-up will never happen, what’s the point? Unless Cruz switches to Dem. It’s well within the margin of error which is why they have traded places back and forth over time. Nice try.

Trump is imploding. Dropping out of this debate is stupid and childish. Is this how he will act as POTUS. He will have to deal with media people he doesnt like. If he cant handle Megyn Kelly, how can he handle Putin.

All assertions for which you have no proof, and which are unprovable anyway.

Well that's weird. I went to the website independently, filtered it for likely Republican primary voters, and got entirely different results:

Trump wins 54 to 44:

http://polling.reuters.com/#poll/TM764BY15/filters/LIKELY_PRIMARY15:1,PARTY_ID_:2

Why's your poll so freakin different?

Drudge's constant citing of Reuters rolling poll cherry-picks the good news for Trump,

I'm sure if everyone wasn't cheating cruz, he would be winning. It has nothing to do with cruz's voting record or him play acting being president with his buddy Chief Justice beck.

This is perhaps the most important reason Cruz needs to remain in this primary race for as long as possible, regardless if he succeeds or fails in Iowa or the next 2 primaries. There are enough primary voters in subsequent states who will go for Cruz in a narrowing field if it looks like Trump would otherwise grab it all. Hang in there Ted!

whatever that poll actually is (with only 222 respondents nationally), and it’s hard to tell from the posted page, here’s a link to a reuters poll from 1/22/2015 that shows Trump at 40.6% and Cruz at 10.5%:

“Republican front-runner candidate Donald Trump has a big lead in the race for the 2016 presidential nomination nationally, swamping his opponents with a 40.6 percent share of those surveyed, a Reuters-Ipsos tracking poll found on Friday.

The survey of 582 respondents found Trump with a higher percentage of the vote than his next four challengers combined, with Texas Senator Ted Cruz drawing 10.5 percent, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson with 9.7 percent, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush at 9.2 percent and Florida Senator Marco Rubio with 7.2 percent.”

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election-poll-idUSMTZSAPEC1MDJJ32Q

Now here’s the poll YOU posted, only no filters, which includes 935 respondents:

Trump: 42.1%

Cruz: 31.8%

Go peddle you fake polls elsewhere.
