Donald Trump feud causes panicking Fox News CEO Roger Ailes to call Ivanka and Melania in attempt to get the frontrunner BACK to the debate - but he'll only speak to Murdoch

Donald Trump's refusal to attend Fox News' debate on Thursday night has sent Fox News into chaos The network's CEO has reportedly reached out to both Ivanka and Melania Trump to try and get the Republican front-runner to change his mind He refuses to attend over the inclusion of anchor Megyn Kelly as one of the debate moderators and will only speak to network head Rupert Murdoch Kelly meanwhile welcomed liberal filmmaker Michael Moore on her program Tuesday night who applauded her handling of the Trump feud One Fox News anchor said of Moore and Kelly; 'That would be like Rachel Maddow laughing along with Charles Koch as he trashed Hillary Clinton!' Trump called Kelly a 'lightweight reporter' on Wednesday morning and his campaign manager said she is 'completely obsessed' with Trump

The Fox News and Donald Trump feud is heating up now that the Republican front-runner has announced he will not be attending the network's debate Thursday night over the presence of anchor Megyn Kelly.

And while the network appears to be publicly siding with Kelly, who is still set to moderate Thursday's debate, the network is also reportedly trying to privately plead with Trump the best way they know how - through the women in his life.

Joe Scarborough revealed on Morning Joe Wednesday morning that Fox News CEO Roger Ailes had been trying to contact both Ivanka and Melania Trump hoping they could convince Trump to change his mind.

Trump looks like a petulant little 3rd grader here. Presidential? Not so much.

Poppycock!

You obviously don’t recognize leadership when you see it.

Trump!..You Magnificent Bastard!

Every evening he has a round table of 2 or 3 Trump bashers....EVERY EVENING. Used to be he would just setup the others to criticize Trump, but for some time now he’s been just as bad.

You’re right. Nothing would change. The RNC needs to pick their own moderators and buy an hour on TV and sell their own ads.

We don’t need this crap.

ExSoldier...do you really believe that Megyn Kelly drives massive revenue for her employer?
While totally anecdotal and non-scientific, I know people who watch that channel all day and take a "break" while her increasingly silly show is on.
If they moved someone like Laura Ingraham or Dana Loesch into her one-hour time (to maintain a female journalist) my bet is ratings would remain stable or increase.

>>Muscataine’s First Presbyterian Church belongs to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) denomination, a liberal Mainline, not Evangelical, denomination that supports same-sex marriage.

That looks bad on the surface, but each PCUSA church is its own church. The denomination owns the property and bank accounts, so a congregation can’t just quit the PCUSA and join the PCA without starting from scratch. But, each church calls its pastors so they can control how liberal they want to be. I know one PCUSA church that flies a rainbow flag and another one 15 miles away that has in their statement of faith that marriage is between one man and one woman.

The PCA fixes the problem by letting each congregation own its own property so if we ever go off the rails, the congregations can change the sign and be done with the denomination.

So, the PCUSA leadership is anti-Christian, but you need to examine each church individually to make that claim. Of course, you could find someone who would declare your church to be anti-Christian too.

“Joe Scarborough revealed on Morning Joe Wednesday morning that Fox News CEO Roger Ailes had been trying to contact both Ivanka and Melania Trump”

And MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough — often known for getting things “wrong,” obtained this information.... where? I notice journos these days aren’t into that attribution thing.

“Stupid, stupid, stupid. Ailes should lose his job.”
My GYN kelly was rude and offensive to Donald at the first debate. It was a set up hit job by the establishment . They thought it would work . it failed. Now , with that in mind— FOX is in his face again with that offensive partisan. She spends 45 minutes Monday on praising a hit piece by old NEOcon globalist, open border, no names in something called the “nations Review” . It was pandering to the establishment left in the old party ( before we took it over) .
Faced with the taunting,in you face, arrogance of Fox in shoving that partisan non journalist back out there— Trump said “no deal” and properly so.

Easily swayed by a skirt, I guess. Each to his own... we’ll see how things shake out. She can’t lose ‘viewership’ in my house. That happened a while ago.

We’ll see what happens but my best guess is that she’ll bow out because of the needs of the viewers to be informed. But it will really be because she had to take one for the team. Money is still money.

Further, Trump doesn’t need the hassle at this point in the IOWA, NH game. Why should he relent to a network so obviously against “We report, you decide?”

I just don’t buy the schtick any more.

I am surprised at how everyone else is surprised?!? Trump told us how he would deal with people when he talks about the Iran deal. Trump wanted the hostages set free or no talking about an Iran deal. Trump has told us how he would deal with Ford Motor, build the wall etc...

Right now Trump is controlling everyone. I love it and believe he will do the same when dealing for America. Don't back down Trump 2016!

it would look worse for him to pocket the money, so he is giving it to a charity of his choice. his time, his rules. his money, his rules. anything wrong with that?

I do not understand why you do not understand why fux nuz attempting to set agenda and pre-determine outcome of debate is not worthy of resistance by anyone and everyone. if they cannot figure out how to run a fair and unbiased debate, they deserve to be destroyed. the alternative is to suffer fux nuz agenda at the expense of the american people and their government. now what did i miss about your point?

Simple. Think of their locations

Debate viewership plummets

Megan’s under pressure and getting the fish eye from fox people

Any moderator thinking of putting trump on the spot in a nasty personal attack will wisely refrain

Trumps numbers go up and or solidify among people sick of watching only our candidates take unnecessary purely destructive crap from the media

eGOP big shot Ed Rollins pushing Fox talking points that Trump is scared of Megyn Kelly.

He is the guy a tea party candidate hired and he destroyed her chance to be elected.

eGOP hack big time, Fox loves him.

Rollins says Trump bought Liberty endorsement with promise of a free Trump tower there.

exactly. If Megyn Kelly cannot stand the heat, Megyn Kelly should stay out of the kitchen. If Fux Nuz cannot stand the heat, Fux Nuz should stay out of the kitchen.

IMO, her “best” journalistic work was that slinky black nightie, high heels and those pouty lips in her “spread it tease” for GQ. That! was some real journalistic Bona Fides in my book! Strumptet.
