I don’t believe Rush underestimates Trump at all. I think Rush gets it completely. He’s tried his hardest to help people understand—and they are simply incapable of getting it. It’s not that they won’t—! They can’t.
Their righteousness & arrogance blinds them to understanding (and they are afraid - in their minds, they believe ‘understanding’ means ‘agreeing’).
Rush knows one has nothing to do with the other!

Rush has trained his listeners well. You don’t have step in a pile of BS to know what it is. I’m not buying his disclaimer either.
That’s what Mark Levin does every day. The funny thing is he keeps saying he hasn’t endorsed anyone yet.
The other candidates look ridiculous in claiming Trump is “afraid to debate” and “running away”.
That would be credible if he’d attended zero debates, or wasn’t already at the debate arena when Fox let loose with their childish faux press release.
(Which someone at Fox, SHOULD be required to explain! Who at Fox signed off on that!?)

See Rush, just got to the point: Donald Trump is not stupid! He is not going to had FOX News the gun, stand still, and let them shoot him.
Good characteristics for President of the United States. Our current President had given Iran the gun, in fact paid for the gun, and is trying to get us all to stand still so they can shoot us with it.
I heard him, he had waaaaay too long a disclaimer at the beginning segment, but then defended Trump's decision in a clear and incisive way.
So far, 40 minutes into his show, and Rush still has not explained WHY Trump won’t give Fox the gun and the bullet.
Come on Rush! Get to the root cause.

Yes he is. After 20 minutes of listening to how many famous people are personal friends of his. Total waste of time. Totally unrelated to the subject at hand.
Even now he is off point. The real issue is will this help or hurt Trump. He should have started the show with that. Instead the first hour is almost over before he finally gets to the only thing of any interest to most of us.

I heard the show yesterday and I heard him say what Cruz was saying, Rush wasn’t saying it.. he was reporting it. He’s right, the only one who can defeat Trump would be Cruz... a distant chance, but Cruz is in second spot. I think Rush does a bang up job of talking for 3 hours and keeping it in a prospective that isn’t biased toward one or the other. Today he’s honing in on Trump.. yesterday it was Cruz... the news of the day does bring Rush to those subjects. I think he could vote for either one. He admires things in both men.

Ok that it was said, anyway. Sometimes the message we receive in error are the messages we need to receive.

Those establishment creds are what turned him into a GOPe waterboy during Dubya’s administration. Instead of being an outside observer he wanted to be their buddy. Fortunately he seems to be doing a lot less of that these days.

I think rush is afraid of both fox and donnie and as a result he will not take a stand. He wants to still able to play golf at trumps place but he would alienate the man that helped make him.
