Listening to C-Span and the calls after the vet event. Couldn’t believe all the democrats calling in saying they were voting for Trump. I think we’re getting ready to see a tidal wave and Trump might win every state in the primary.
The swaying of democrat voters to Trump is altering the calculus of selecting his VP.
I have been of the opinion that no matter the animosity that has developed between the two great men Trump would be forced to select Cruz as VP just to bring the disgruntled Cruz supporters into the fold for the general.
But the number of dems moving to him means he must weigh the number of dems that will be put off by a Cruz selection against the Cruz supporters who won't vote Trump is Cruz is not the VP.
I hope Cruz wins the toss since I think that he will be a great president someday and that being Trump's VP is his only chance of ever rising to that station.

I know two libtards who registered to vote for the first time just so they can pull the lever for Trump. They have never voted, ever.
A lot of my friends are democrats, even of the yellow dog variety, and yet many support Trump. They won't say it openly, and usually not in front of each other, but they tell me so. Especially the men have a very hard time swallowing Hillary. I joke, you need to cut them off before you can vote for her, but you get a complementary set of Crocks as a consolation.
