I despise Trump, but there should be a date on every one of those quotes or the point of the article is not legitimate.
Just because he said horrible terrible leftist things doesn’t mean he’s a leftist.....anymore.
Fixed.
“ok. iâll play. so what quotes in this article are lies?”
so the above is my post. and that is acting like “an infantile ass” and my mind is “welded shut”? Interesting. It seems like I’m the one who’s got the open mind and asking you to elucidate where the lies in the OP’s article where.
tell you what, I challenge you to go read through my posts and find proof of what you claim. About the extent of what you will find is me referring to you trumpeters as “braying trumpeters”
You apparently cannot answer. But I will certainly bear YOUR name in mind for those who are incapable of answering a simple straight forward question.
Very well said.
In business dealings I have found sub-ordinates of a company tend to take on the character and principles of the owner, ceo and or leadership. Seems that has happened to those following Trump.
Blather is never a solution to incompetence.
It may obscure it, but it’s not a solution.
Keep up the good work!
Take care.........pilgrim
I realize this was a long, long time ago, but here’s a partial transcript from a 60 Minutes interview on September 27, 2015:
Pelley: How do you fix it (Obamacare)?
Trump: Thereâs many different ways, by the way. Everybodyâs got to be covered. This is an un-Republican thing for me to say because a lot of times they say, âNo, no, the lower 25 percent that canât afford private. Butââ
Pelley: Universal health care.
Trump: I am going to take care of everybody. I donât care if it costs me votes or not. Everybodyâs going to be taken care of much better than theyâre taken care of now.
Pelley: The uninsured person is going to be taken care of. How? How?
Trump: Theyâre going to be taken care of. I would make a deal with existing hospitals to take care of people. And, you know what, if this is probablyâ
Pelley: Make a deal? Who pays for it?
Trump: âthe governmentâs gonna pay for it. But weâre going to save so much money on the other side. But for the most itâs going to be a private plan and people are going to be able to go out and negotiate great plans with lots of different competition with lots of competitors with great companies and they can have their doctors, they can have plans, they can have everything.
Doesn’t sound a lot different than Bernie Sanders’ plan to me...

And, in the unlikely event you’d like to read/hear more regarding taxes and other issues in Trump’s own words:

See you after Super Tuesday.
I hear you about hit and run. But in all honesty FRiend, do you not see the hypocrisy of your complaint and your reply 2 here? It’s ok, we all screw up and get pissed off from time to time (and no I’m not being condescending or glib here).
Yes he is! And he’s telling mean, evil lies about The Donald, who never said any of those things...!! /s/
That’s a fair point, but we’re talking about things The Donald said a few months ago...
I don’t think they even care what he says today. They don’t really listen to him. It is odd but not the first time in history it has occurred.
So, are you refuting what Erickson is saying here?
Don’t tell me all that stuff. Go find someone out there who hasn’t made up their mind already. I don’t want to hear about this sacrosanct ‘conservative’ altar anymore. We’ve been screwed with that mantra left and right by RINOs and GOP establishment fools they are exactly that.
Conservative as a label is just a crutch for those who are too staid or unwilling to see how we can break the chains and hold GOP Establishment has enslaved us with. All of them willing abettors to liberals and Democrats ruling our lives.
My only question of you is if Trump wins the nomination, will you vote for him in the general election? If you won’t answer that, then we don’t have anything to discuss.
The cult of personality behind trump causes fearfulness, than vehement defensiveness when the truth is pointed out. If trump wins the Whitehouse, these same folks will be the first to throw him under the bus at his failure to successfully acomplish instantaenous reversal of fortune.
Yeah. That’s what Obama supporters said before the last two elections. I.e. winning is not always winning.
Notice my concern is not about trump. It’s about his CONSERVATIVE supporters. Many have gone all in without asking the tough questions and scrutinizing the actual content and feasibility of his ideas. Once you do that, he’s not so whiney.
Erickson is an opportunist putz. Why is his obsession to be in the news so important. I was miffed that the OP did a drive by with no comment as the OP frequently does. Might as well just start out the day with a link to Townhall.com and call it a day IMO.
Erickson is still a douche and TDS is amusing to me.
Support for single-payer, abortion, the Kelo decision and gun control were long-held stances of Trump’s. It doesn’t take an extensive cherry-picking effort to flesh them out.
