The seemingly endless presidential campaign finally gets real Monday, with Iowa voters heading to the polls for the state's caucuses.
The candidates blitzed the Hawkeye State in a final push Sunday, making public demonstrations of their faith and getting in their last jabs.
Both the Republican and Democratic races are considered up for grabs, with the winners certain to get a burst of momentum.
In a show of solidarity with the evangelical Christians who dominate the GOP caucuses, Donald Trump began the day at a nondenominational church in Council Bluffs with his wife, Melania.
Melania Trump took Communion from a silver tray, but Trump thought it was a collection plate and reached into his pocket to donate before realizing his mistake.
"I thought it was for offering," he said later with a laugh.

Pandering is a requirement it seems. They all do it.

Trump went there because he heard that 2 Corinthians would be there; he wanted their votes.
If you pay attention to the service, it's pretty difficult to get the alms basin and the paten confused.

A true conservative like Trump instinctively reaches into his pocket, since charity is second nature with him. Cruz would have stuck his hand into the collection basket, grabbed whatever he could, and donated it to the Canadian Treasury.

Yikes! What is CRuz shielding himself from?
That picture is hilarious. Cruz is saying, “No God. Please. I don’t wanna give more then 1 percent to donations. I don’t care if the Bible says 10 percent. I give 1 percent and no more.” But don’t forget God, I am the most conservative Christian in the running. God gave a loud thunder and Cruz held up his arms to protect himself.
