Sarah Palin: Steve King Suffers ‘Potomac Fever’ Suggesting Donald Trump Pays for Support

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who endorsed GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, told supporters at his campaign rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Monday that “You find out who your friends are” in politics.

Palin went on to criticize Rep. Steve King (R-IA), who endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), for alleging that she was paid to support Trump.

“Steve King – friend of mine – I thought,” Palin began. “Here I see that just a bit ago he is accusing me on MSNBC – first, MSNBC really? – of selling my support to Mr. Trump. This is why when you read things like this, people don’t really like politics.”

I wish this woman would just go away. She has latched onto Trump so she can get some media coverage.

In the long run, she is bad for the party. Very few like her. I used to like her, but she is nothing but a media personality to me now and it’s hard to take her seriously anymore.

She needs to go an tend to her family and take care of some of this issues going on

So why did Steve King say that Trump bought Sarah’s endorsement? No indication that he excluded Sarah from this charge:

AMES, Iowa — Rep. Steve King , an Iowa Republican and Ted Cruz supporter, says Donald Trump bought his endorsements. Trump recently received high profile endorsements from Maricopa County Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, and Liberty University president Jerry Falwell, Jr.

King reiterated his statement about the endorsements to the Daily Caller on Saturday during a Cruz rally at the Gateway Hotel and stressed that he “knows things.”

I thought so too, and respected him for his support of Michael Behenna at the time when we needed his help. He has been a strong supporter of our Military Heroes. I had great respect for him for that very reason.

I have made it VERY CLEAR here on FR that my immediate support for Donald Trump was because from DAY 1 he was the ONLY CANDIDATE who professed his support of our Veterans and his goal to strengthen our Military. That was it for me. And guess what, both Cruz and Carly tie their “donation to our Heroes to a one on one debate". WHY? they don't want to support our heroes without something in return???

So here is my opinion. King tied in with Cruz because the truth be known, King is STILL too close to the Establishment. I was hoping for a Trump/Cruz ticket.....but no more. :)

Be careful Sarah, I don’t remember seeing Kings daughters getting pregnant out of marriage nor his sons getting DUIs.

If we have to compare which one is a better parent, and thus preparing their children to be good citizens, then King beats you Sarah.
