His business history tells a different story, lots of female execs some of whom make more than male counterparts. Women headed up projects before it was fashionable. Don't fall for political speak, look at candidate's records/actions.

Trump's record is out there for all to see. He is the kind of man who can respect individuals who happen to be women but doesn't respect women as a whole. He shows that in the way he demeans them - by looks rather than by what they do or say. By his ownership of beauty pageants. By his general demeanor towards them. Even when describing his own daughter he concentrates on her looks first and then her abilities and accomplishments. It's pretty clear that when Trump said if she hadn't been his daughter he'd date her that it wasn't for her mind.

But just because I recognize Trump as the pig he is doesn't mean that's why I won't vote for him. That decision is entirely due to his less-than-conservative stance on most issues.

Maybe it’s because you believe in the model of patting yourself on the back for whatever you think you know.

I believe in verifying from as many angles as possible.

But you lied... you did not walk away, you had to get in another shot!

At the very LEAST, keep your word.

I’ve known a few guys like Donald Trump and they were great guys. Not politically correct but when the chips are down they are there on your six.

I love the guy and cannot wait to vote for him in Georgia’s primary. He will be a great President.

Not being a womanizer, I can’t directly relate to Donald there.

He’s shown in other contexts, however, that he can and will respect women in serious pursuits and will even choose them intelligently rather than as empty figurines for eye candy.

This appears to show that his little head isn’t such a boss over his big one that this becomes impossible.

Donald does tend to get either friends or enemies. Not too many indifferent people.

Some look at the window and see the chips and the dirt. Some look through the window and see what’s beyond it.

We haven’t had a President who honors God since Reagan. My point was about a libtard taking Biblical verses out of context, which happens more often than not.

Again, I believe that he can respect individuals who happen to be women but not females as a gender. He isn't a whole lot different from Bill Clinton in that regard.

Yes, Donald has that failing.

What is worse, to care for the femmes too much, or too little?

To be fair, I don’t know of any accounts that Donald has wanked in his office, or asked for anything but straight sex out of anybody but whoever he was, at the least, officially married to.

Wasting your time. Kaslin is RINO central ..

It certainly appears that way. The only authentic pro American anti-establishment candidate gets trashed here 24/7 by uniparty attack ads. Sad.

Jimmy Carter could recite large parts of the bible from memory. He confessed that he lusted in his heart. He was a Sunday School teacher. Just the very type of person this author seems to want the republican candidate to be, maybe Jimmy is available. How would that work out?

This is the thing about Donald... either gets friends or enemies. The indifference factor towards him seems to be rather low. Love Donald or hate Donald but little just don’t care about Donald.

As I said before, my issue with Trump has nothing to do with his character, or lack there of. If he had showed over the years that he was a true conservative who believed in smaller government, less spending, the sanctity of life, strict adherence to the Constitution, and a prudent foreign policy then I could easily support him regardless of his character flaws. To paraphrase the author of this piece, I'm electing a president and not a boyfriend.

He seems to be in the more instantaneously non-obvious spot of a person who is morphing, but without enough of a history in the position he has morphed to that people feel uncomfortable predicting he will stay there.

In response: I’ve noticed a larger trend that he seems to morph from left to right and not the other way in any demonstrated sense.

I can see a theoretical point, but feel that fears like this can be like unto fears about global warming. It’s possible in principle. But nobody’s actually seen the earth show signs of doing the alarming, hostile things that Al Gore has characterized it with doing in response to much less CO2 than the earth has endured in the past.

As a wascally evangelical, I’ve learned that moving targets can be more telltale about what’s behind them, than fixed targets are. The fixed appearance could be a show over ossified thought. Something that moves is clearly attached to a mover, and the kind of motion shows what kind of mover. This is not the Mitt variety of change. He went from left to right back to left. This is a mover that is focused on people. Donald is in motion to the right. This is a mover that is focused on something beyond people, in fact quite likely beyond the world.

Agreed. And it's especially easy, given the circumstances, to wonder if he's really morphing or is it an act he feels he has to play in order to chase the nomination.

In response: I’ve noticed a larger trend that he seems to morph from left to right and not the other way in any demonstrated sense.

Is it because he's running for the Republican nomination? Or is it genuine? If you look at his history he's switched from Democrat to Republican then back to Democrat then to Reform Party and on and on. Ronald Reagan moved to the right once, and having left the Democrats he didn't pinball between parties. Trump's hasn't shown that he has any real political position that isn't open to change.

Donald is in motion to the right. This is a mover that is focused on something beyond people, in fact quite likely beyond the world.

As a die-hard skeptic I just find it hard to trust his move to the right is genuine or long lasting.
