Cruz and Trump both need to get those “somewhat conservative” voters from Rubio. “Somewhat conservative” means a Republican moderate I’d guess.
Notice Trump came in second with both types of ‘conservatives’. Pretty good for a ‘NY values’ guy.
I think that meme ‘won’ Iowa for Cruz. Though he would have done very well even without it.
Retail politics may not always be worth the cost.
We’ll see how much Iowa was worth. They all got about the same from it and Trump ‘paid’ much less.
A third in NH would make Cruz’s or Rubio’s costs seem a bargain.

LOL to your post 11. I really doubt those letters made that much difference AND they very well may have meant as much to other candidates as to Cruz. In fact I think Trump actually won the “just decided in the last day” category. Or maybe it was Rubio.

I meant to add that regardless of who is to blame for the rumor, the fact still remains that it is unknown as to how many votes switched away from Carson and to whom.
And I repeat that if that is not known, neither is anything else regarding the top three candidates.
