Donald Trump's private jet made an emergency landing in Nashville Wednesday afternoon after the pilot reported engine problems, officials said.
The Boeing 757 landed in Nashville at 4:40 p.m., the Federal Aviation Administration said.
Trump eventually made it to the event he was attending. It was unclear how he got there.
The FAA is investigating the incident.

Oh really? Must have missed that one. Some people here on both sides need to just get a life. Arguing about the candidates is one thing, but condemning people to hell and calling them evil indicates loopiness.

I was on a military aircraft in another life where we were told to prepare for an emergency landing. I can admit that was not something anyone wanted to hear. But it turned out fine, near perfect landing. Regarding passengers, it’s not something most folks would consider a happy memory.
Not a damn thing funny about that!

Taking a respite from FR for a while. Between all of this bovine excrement being slung about candidates and tacky, unsupportive comments about our decision about homeschooling and my capabilities as a mom to teach my child, ....I’m out.

I believe Trump’s 757 is relatively young. I believe it was built in the 90’s.
Outside of the upgraded Engines, it has a very low cycle (takeoffs and landings) record.
If I understand you correctly, you are turned off to Cruz because of Cruz’s supporters. I’ve seen others say the same on FR, and of course there are Cruz people who have turned against Trump because of Trump supporters.
Why would anyone turn against a candidate because of that candidate’s supporters? There are always people who support our guy but who are also idiots, and people who support the other guy but who are also idiots. Why is that a reason to make a decision about the candidate?
I’m not trying to argue you into supporting Cruz, I just don’t understand why Cruz’s supporters acting like idiots would turn you against Cruz, when he doesn’t even know these idiot supporters and does not control their actions.
Of course the same question applies to Cruz supporters who react to Trump idiots as well.
Don’t we want to pick a candidate based on his own positions, strengths, and credibility, rather than the fallacies or offenses given by some of his supporters?

I’m a Trump supporter, but I found the digs hilarious, especially the ethanol one...hat tip. Must keep perspective. It’s going to be a long campaign with many ups and downs for the candidates...except the back benchers. It’s pretty much all down.
