The Cruz/Trump wars are killing both candidates and moving Rubio up to prime Romney position. Here's the poll from PPP to be released tomorrow:

Rubio is calling on the party to 'consolidate' (guys behind me drop out and endorse me).
The MSM is laughing about the Trump vs. Cruz war and encouraging it -- Karl Rove on Fox tonight telling Trump he was right; Trump did steal Iowa; go sue over it and keep imploding pursuing it.
This is a calculated destruction of the insurgency candidates by the GOPe.
Unfortunately, as can be seen on this board, Trump and Cruz are playing into the hands of the Uniparty right now.
If you can get to Trump or Cruz, tell them to talk and go back to fighting the real fight - against the Washington cartel - and not killing off our chances for a non-amnesty candidate.

maybe Trump should just walk away from this battle and concentrate on the war. But who am I....I don’t have 8 billion, in fact not even a measly 1 billion.
Supporters of each candidate don’t give a damn, particularly those on this forum. Once Rubio leaps them, they are toast, and conservatives will be partly to blame.
All this sturm and drang will be over soon and I can re-register as an independent and wash my hands of the whole mess.
I think i’ll write-in Lady Ga Ga for President. Why not? At this point, what difference does it make?
This is one national poll, but it doesn’t seem to be showing up in other polls and also New Hampshire so far seems to still be Trump. I guess time will tell.
Personally, I do NOT think that the Cruz supporters care. Not most of the ones on FR, anyway.

They are spoiled. Make their minds up late after seeing all the candidates in person.
Trump skipped the Iowa debate. Mistake. The late breaking folks went to Rubio and ‘electable’ was the major trait they were looking for. Like Romney all over.
I say four points of Rand goes to Cruz and one to Rubes.
Rand blamed Trump for Rand’s demise.
So these polls wont settle until at least Monday after the debate on Sat.
We all knew the oligarchy had a plan and a backup plan and a backup backup plan.
they played this beautifully...got Trump to skip a debate, lucked out with Carson not going to the next two states for some reason and even though rubio’s people used the info too, the media rocked Ted. and on and on
Ted and Donald are getting punched by each other and are BOTH taking punches from every direction.
people (politicians) will be paid to back rubio, like this Santorum guy, who i’ve heard was so ultra ultra conservative.

Trump struck the right tone on the night of the caucuses.
The next day and today Trump goes into meltdown.
The media is goading him into it - including Rove tonight.
Trump and Cruz can kill each other and end the insurgency with a continued meltdown.
Carson at 11? Dont believe it. He could lose five points easy while he is cleaning his socks.
These go to Cruz. Cruz could easily put on 10 pts.
It was the cheating that got him going I guess. Have to say I don’t blame him although might be better to work around it.

They know Trump’s weaknesses. They set him up with the pre Iowa debate slight hoping he would skip it - not knowing 1/3 of the voters there are ‘late deciders’ (morons) who want that last debate to decide.
Then they set up Luntz with his fake focus group and all the commentators pre scripted. Rubio did great, he won, he’s electable. One Fox commentator said, “He’s the young John F. Kennedy to Hillary Clinton’s Richard Nixon.”
Was all planned and Trump is falling into it like a big bear landing on spikes.
LOL I dont think Carson supporters will go to Cruz after what happened in Iowa.
The Uniparty might have put the CIA guy to head Cruz’s campaign — party of giving Cruz x million dollars.
Cruz may not have known of the deception until after the fact.

Top three a month ago:
Trump
Carson
Cruz.
50% plus of the electorate.
Now they kill each other off.
And we get Rubio, Jeb, and Kasich.
Cubalot.
That’s the whole point.
The point was to have them go to Rubio. Just not Cruz or Trump.
Better yet: STAY HOME.
They don’t want the ‘down ticket’ - Congress and the money bags - to be lost.
They were happy with Bill.
Will be happy with Hillary.
The Uniparty must be preserved at all costs.
To do that they need BOTh sides of the ticket. Hillary vs. Jeb is ideal.
But Rubio is being pumped up, then ‘a governor’ (Jeb or Kasich will be right behind him).
They may stick with Rubio or may move up the governor.
