Donald Trump has dropped 9 points in a national poll following his loss in the Iowa caucuses according to a new survey that will be released Thursday, Business Insider reported.
Trump still takes the first spot but received only 25 percent of the vote from Republican primary voters, according to a Public Policy Polling survey.
Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio both received 21 percent of the vote, putting them in second place. Ben Carson took 11 percent.
In a previous Public Policy Polling national survey released in December, Trump held a double-digit lead with 34 percent of the vote. His closest competitor, Cruz, followed with only 18 percent and Rubio took third with 13 percent.
Yep, Trump may have just initiated the sequence to his final meltdown. And it can’t come too soon.
Trump, in 2013, endorsed communist Bill De Blasio for New York City mayor. He supports Obama's opening up to communist Cuba. He loves KGB Putin. He, in his mid-50s, supported gays in the military AND partial birth abortion.

TRUMP [on the Larry King Show (2009), referring to the then newly elected communist president (Obama)]: "Well, I really like him. I think that he's working very hard. He's trying to rebuild our reputation throughout the world. I mean, we really have lost a lot of reputation in the world. The previous administration [GW Bush] was a total disaster, a total catastrophe."
And I'm not saying I agree with everything he's doing. I do agree with what they're doing with the banks. Whether they FUND THEM or NATIONALIZE them, it doesn't matter, but you have to keep the banks going."

Fred Dicker: What is it going to mean for Donald Trump to have Bill de Blasio as [New York City] Mayor?"
Donald Trump: "He's a smart guy that knows what's going on really big league and I think he is not going to want to destroy New York."
(Voice Over: That was Donald Trump a little over two years ago, endorsing [Marxist] Bill de Blasio for New York Mayor)
Donald Trump: "I think pretty strongly that he'll end up being a good mayor, maybe a very good mayor."
(Voice Over: De Blasio ran on class warfare, sanctuary cities and ending stop and frisk. De Blasio's sided with looters and cop killers against the police, with teachers unions against schoolchildren and with PC liberals to let the homeless run wild on city streets)
Donald Trump: "I think he is going to want to make New York great. ..."

If Trump was going to have a melt-down I really wish he had not tagged Cruz with the birther stuff first.
Look what happened last time around, voters believing weird urban legends about Romney.
Looks like Rubio will win the nomination. Another great victory for R wing of the uniparty. Thanks a lot Cruz. We had one chance to save the party from the Marxist globalist by electing Trump and Ted Cruz ruined our one chance.
Doe’s anyone have the ability to put up a dumber post?
“Looks like Rubio will win the nomination.”
What exactly is the “looks” that direct your thinking?
Amazing that Trump is leading the NH poll, just like he did in the Iowa polls.
National polls will change if Trump can pull out a big win in New Hampshire. Right now those polls are more important.
Why blame Cruz? Why not blame Trump?
“Does this poll include the meltdown besides the Iowa loss?”
The “meltdown” happened entirely in the imagination of Cruz-bots.
Yet.
im so sick of these polls
OK... Trump's meltdowns yesterday and today had nothing to do with it? Or is it Cruz' fault that Trump melted down?
2013 is meaningless ancient history to those who are fixated on which hospital Cruz’s mom was in in 1970.
Trump 36, Rubio 15, Cruz 14, Kasich 7, Bush 8, Christie 5, Fiorina 3, Carson 4, Paul, Huckabee, Santorum Trump +21
I always vote the straight Republican ticket but this time it might be very hard. Our betters don’t want to give us much of a choice even as they pledge a billion dollars to help Syrian refugees and cram the world’s poor into our cities as they cut our benefits - it’s not fair we have too much.
Rubio will not win anything. The people of Florida even hate him. We know what type of person he is. He is a liar and a GOP hack. Dont believe anything he says.
You have got to be kidding me.
The headline was written by someone who opposes Trump.
Half the headlines I read each day are misleading.
