Dont even think about what all missed since 98. Don’t event think about it.
I rarely criticize Rush, but this time it is highly warranted.
One thing that disappoints me about Rush is his desire to hedge bets. The first and last time i accepted Rush’s assurance that some candidate is “conservative enough” was Bush in 2000. After 8 years of “compassionate conservatism”, I no longer trust Rush on that.
Hopefully Rush will get Rubio figured out soon. At one time he was even on my radar then came the Gang of 8.

Rubio is a bold-faced liar. Having said that, i will take him over any dem, because he will support lower taxes and pro-life, if even by force of the populous. However, his decision to not run for s second senate term indicates he is not popular in Florida, anymore.

He knows the truth. He knows the wink-wink Rubio plays up on English-second-language networks.
Sure Rush plays footsie with the Cruz fans to keep them on the hook for the bait and switch. Rubio is the chosen candidate, always was, and Rush has to keep the troops properly motivated to that end.

Let's examine Jimmy's comments:

By contrast, Mr. Carter said, "Ted Cruz is not malleable. He has far right-wing policies , in my opinion, that would be pursued aggressively if and when he would become president."

Think is was supposed to be Bush/Rubio but Bush just couldn’t carry the GOPE water. Now it will be Rubio/Bush.
Yeah Rubio was on mine too. He really sounded conservative.
What Rubio did was say what he needed to say to get elected and then immediately joined with democrats to do the exact opposite, not even a month after he gets into office.
Rush doesn’t sound like he really cares about this or even cares who wins the primary. All he wants to do is talk everyone up and then shower the primary winner with praise, as if “anyone is better than the democrats.” It is like he lives in another country and is just casually looking out the window at the USA.
But if our candidate is just gonna do what the democrats want, this tired old saw means nothing. Rush wants to believe they wont be “that bad” and Rush then does his best to cover for them and talk them up to keep the illusion. He is constantly inventing ways to rephrase what they do in order to make them look good. It’s propaganda.
We have a real Christan Conservative running, there is no need to do this kind of talking up during the primary. Rush’s program has become boring. He spends three hours saying only, “every candidate is wonderful! Sure all of them (except Cruz) has (*MAJOR*) problems but let’s just cheer them all on! After all, in the end you will do your own analysis and make up your own mind.” This makes his program useless to listen to, since we are waiting for his truthful and fact filled analysis. Rush claims he is telling us what he thinks, but that means all he is thinking is propaganda.

Trump Vows “Forward Motion” On Gay “Equality”

New York billionaire Donald Trump promises “forward motion” on so called gay rights if elected president.
While speaking with Bay Windows publisher Sue O’Connell Friday, Trump spoke about his wishes to unite the country on gay and lesbian issues.
According to a report by Bay Windows:
O’Connell, who is also Bay Windows’ Publisher, identified herself as a lesbian in a question that noted the progress the LGBT community has made in the last two decades and asked Trump if voters can expect him to continue that momentum if elected
“When President Trump is in office can we look for more forward motion on equality for gays and lesbians?” O’Connell asked him.
“Well, you can,” Trump answered. “ And look, again, we’re going to bring people together, and that’s your thing and other people have their thing. We have to bring all people together and if we don’t we’re not going to have a country anymore.”
Trump couldn’t draw from Iowa, but Cruz could by a landslide.
And all this time I thought he was in pursuit of the truth. :)
Haha yeah that sounds right. That is what the establishment donor class would want. I think they also wouldn’t mind Trump since he is ready to make deals with democrats and has no principals to worry about.
