Because the Supreme Court in their decision (Kelo) over a case in New London, Conn. decided that a business trying to engage in development useful to the community could take someone’s house. They also decided if I recall correctly that states could make their own rules on this. Here is a detailed explanation.

My info on his education was from Wiki. Whether it means as much as Trump says, as my post said, I don’t know. But clearly a degree from Wharton can mean more than one thing. And clearly Trump is skilled at conflating different things and implying the better for himself.

And we all know full well Carson created his own demise and Cruz gave him opportunity to set that straight along with him tonight, that door was opened wide for Carson to calm the entire event.....instead of manning up to his interview with CNN, and his own staffs errors, and failure to mention Rubio’s hand in this.... Carson played victim again and continued to milk this election to keep the funds flowing into his dead campaign and getting the face time he covets.
Further the investigation in Iowa has stated that this event played no roll in Carson losing any votes as he and Trump keep feeding the public.....they both claim they are not politicians but neither are showing they are any different in how they are playing the game.

Kelo’s concept of “useful to the community” used to be, and still SHOULD be unconstitutional. It’s the biggest SCOTUS screwup I know of between Roe and Roberts. And Framers certainly didn’t intend what Trump and friends tried to pull in Atlantic City. My hypothetical comparison for the Donald would be this: suppose someone richer and more powerful than him, such as Bloomberg, wanted to tear down Trump Tower for a cab stand and asked DeBlasio to ED it for him. Should they be able to trump the Donald’s wishes on the subject or must they accept either Donald’s denial or his price?
Keep digging. Business is designed to make money. On no way was there any corruption involved, no matter how the Teddy Bares try to change the subject.
BTW, how many votes has your candidate missed? I thought he was a Senator. I think it is corrupt take a salary and not show up for work. Teddy Cruz is Just another political hack!

It does not matter AT ALL whatsoever how many votes Carson lost or Cruz gained. What matters is that a dirty trick was attempted.
If a person tries to rob a bank, but is unsuccessful in getting any money from the bank, he is still guilty of attempted robbery. The cops do not release him simply because he did not gain any money.
