Chris Christie. He’s not my choice at all for President, but the way he crapped all over Rubio’s big day was pretty awesome to watch. If this debate was in prison, Rubio, the “winner” due to his 3rd place finish in Iowa would have to follow Christie around holding his back pocket and wearing lipstick afterwards.

And yet some "news" sites like Red State are saying Trump came away with at best a draw.

One poll I viewed, had Trump winning at 85%. LINK

Here's one at 76%. LINK

Trump was in total control the whole night. He shut down Bush, Cruz lost out and didn’t lay a finger on him and he let Christie slaughter Rubio. His answers were concise, well thought out and cleanly delivered. It was very clear who was Presidential. Trump. Also his consideration of Carson showed the kind of man he is. Pure class.

“And yet some “news” sites like Red State are saying Trump came away with at best a draw.”

That’s what is known as “wishful thinking!” Red State has been good at trying to put out a narrative that doesn’t really comport with the facts. Then there’s all this vituperation by the Cruzers here on FR when your own FR Caucus clearly shows night after night that the Cruzers are in the minority here by a wide margin. I guess they all live in Parador!

Real nonsense these polls...
Cruz was really the best on stage without any doubt

Well, I touch on the FR Caucus here once in a while, but seldom on this point.

I urge everyone to go vote, but I still get the impression there is a lot of unvoiced support here on the forum.

All I can do is urge folks to participate, and if they don’t, don’t get upset about the totals.

I go out on the internet and I find a poll, like I did these evening. 10,000 people had responded, and Trump had a 76% approval.

What do I make of that. It isn’t like this is one of those subjects people game. As far as I know, the public is free to participate in these polls. Trump was winning them all from 65 to 85%.

Is there some big public conspiracy against Cruz? I don’t think so.

Yes, and if conditions here on FR are any indication, Cruz has a great deal of support, and those people should be hitting these on-line polling sites as much as any of the other candidates supporters are doing.

The Democrats don’t want Trump.

The RNC doesn’t want Trump.

The GOPe doesn’t want him.

The MSM doesn’t want him.

The talking heads aren’t talking him up.

Rush isn’t pushing him.

The Blogs aren’t pushing him.

The pundits aren’t pushing him.

The print media doesn’t want him.

The academics don’t want him.

The University students think he’s a racist.

So who is gaming the polls?

Very strange.

The Democrats don’t want Trump. (He would undo their entire 8 years of destruction. Actually more like the entire period following WWII)

The RNC doesn’t want Trump.(He would cause their donors to abandon them, and perhaps even take over and RIF them)

The GOPe doesn’t want him. (He would dismantle their Cosa Nostra on the Potomac)

The MSM doesn’t want him. (They are all Marxist/Communists, and they don’t want the money flow to them from the RNC to stop)

The talking heads aren’t talking him up. (Their paychecks depend on the line item above)

Rush isn’t pushing him. (Can’t account for that, yet)

The Blogs aren’t pushing him. ( He doesn’t “belong.”)

The pundits aren’t pushing him. (They do the bidding of whomever pays them)

The print media doesn’t want him.(They are all Socialist/Communists)

The academics don’t want him. (They fear that their little education scam will be dismantled, and all that grant money for “studying” the inconcequential going away)

The University students think he’s a racist. (They are too stupid to understand because they’ve been “edumucated” by the folks in the line item above)

So who is gaming the polls? ( No one, the people have finally figured it out, thanks to Trump)

Very strange. (Not when you finally realize you’ve been duped all your life).
Trump has made me really think about the whole matter of how our government has been run all my life, just how really criminal it’s behavior has been all that time, and just how close we are today to not being able to recover, ever!

BTW many thanks for your daily FR Polling. Good stuff!

Tonight when I was watching and Trump chastised the audience after they booed him... I was very worried. Now I think it will actually be his equivalent to Reagan saying, “I paid for this microphone, Mr. Green.” during the 1980 New Hampshire primary that helped take him to the Whitehouse. The GOP gave the Trump campaign only two dozen tickets to the event. It was packed with GOPe who would have cheered bush for a good burp. Trump called them out on it. If Trump wins the election I think that this completely unconventional move is going to remembered as legendary.

So with all of those groups not supporting him, which I know here seems to be a good thing, just how is he going to win against a lying, cheating Clinton machine?

And no way any candidate gets 75% plus in a poll. That’s absurd.

“the Vast Majority” group?

You’re right. Bush was emboldened because he knew the deck was stacked. I don’t think the people at home didn’t figure that out. It was so obvious.

I was telling another FReeper this evening, that at one point Jeb started to talk and didn’t even get half a sentence out, before there was raucous applause. The moderator simply said his name.

Trump made some very good points, to about five clapping people you could hear.

Trump nailed them right then on it. He spilled the beans.

Gotta like the guy for being stand up in that circumstance.
