Sunday, February 7, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Plymouth, NH at Plymouth State University at ALLWell North. The event is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM EST.
Trump moves more inland today for an early rally, and again it's at a small venue.
Here's some interesting history.
This was the case in every New England state. The early settlers drove the Indians out physically during the Queen Anne's War. Plymouth was originally the site of an Abenaki village that was burned to the ground by Captain Thomas Baker in 1712.
In 1806, then-lawyer Daniel Webster lost his first criminal case at the Plymouth courthouse, which now houses the Historical Society. The author Nathaniel Hawthorne, while on vacation in 1864 with former U.S. President Franklin Pierce, died in Plymouth at the second Pemigewasset House, which was later destroyed by fire in 1909. In the early 20th century, the Draper and Maynard Sporting Goods Company (D&M) sold products directly to the Boston Red Sox, and players such as Babe Ruth would regularly visit to pick out their equipment.

That is an interesting dilemma. Wonder if anything might be found on Google to answer that. Illinois apparently has his name on the ballot so perhaps this might be the place to begin looking. When voting for him in Texas all that is remembered was T Cruz, I think. That was several years ago so memory escapes :-)) Will attempt to search this evening. LOL About to start cooking those baby back ribs for the game this evening and searching for the recipe for my rub. It’s here somewhere!!!!

My city cousin thought I was nuts. What the hey! It was summer and we had an acre on which to play. Several very large trees. Few neighbors so my sister and I became bestest friends. Until the day we played school. After her turn to be the teacher she didn’t want to play any longer. My furious face o-—— with daggers coming out of my eyes :-)) Living in the country was all I knew so the school bus was anticipated joyously when I finally was of age to begin school. Then, we moved to the big city. Sigh some memories linger longer than others.

Exactly...and that’s why it was a good thing for Trump to skip the Iowa debate...this media needs to get the message that he is NOT going to put up with them calling all the shots. I can’t wait until Pres. Trump has his first press conference!
