Jeb Bush vowed Monday that he will not scapegoat President Obama for any challenges he faces should he be elected president.

"My pledge to you - when I'm president I will not blame Barack Obama for a single thing," he told listeners at the Nashua Country Club in Nashua, N.H. "The day that I'm sworn into office, I'm on watch - whatever it is.

[”My pledge to you - when I’m president I will not blame Barack Obama for a single thing,”]

You’re just what we always said you were, Jebby. No surprise.

You miss the point. I don't see a problem with what Rubio said, it is how he said it. Rubio has been accused of being a robotic like candidate, programmed with canned sound bites, advised to the hilt to the point that he is nothing more than an empty suit. Get it?

Rubio proved them correct. It isn't that he is wrong, it is that he is a programmed robot, where regardless of the question, he spouts off a memorized awkward non sequitur three times. AFTER Christie calls him out for his robotic, canned memorized responses, Rubio proceeds to follow the thing he does best and that is to repeat a third time the same robotic, canned 25 second memorized speech of a slick politician. Which, again, was an awkward non sequitur.

Rubio proved his own critics correct that he is a programmed empty suit. The content was irrelevant.

I also read today, that Rubio ran an ad for two weeks in NH, which deeply hurt Christie. Christie was running a close second to Trump and was popular in NH. The ad focused on common core and something else, I can't remember right now. Christie took a dive in the polls of NH and he has not recovered. That is why Christie was taking victory laps on Sunday, he really did want to hurt Rubio and he did, but not certain if it will be a lasting scar or not.

Rubio? Conservative?

Did I just step into a parallel universe?

I think one can criticize Christie for a number of things, but I would never blame him for destroying NJ - the democrats did that. Once he is gone from the governorship, the decline will proceed at a faster clip, but the democrats get all the blame.

I recall 3 or 4 years ago, Christie was hosting a town hall somewhere in NJ. An indignant teacher was fairly blunt towards Christie blaming him for her salary, which she considered not adequate. Christie was visibly perturbed and asked her how long she had been teaching. It was something like 20 years or so. Knowing approximately what she made, he told her if she did not like what she was getting paid to go out and find another job that paid as well. And he told her to let him know when she did find that job. She turned around very unhappy. I loved it. Nothing against teachers, but the news story found out what she made - it was something like 85,000 and when benefits were added it was about $120K. Too bad Christie is not more conservative. He does have some bona fides, but not enough.

A very good and conservative friend of mine in NJ would disagree.

I'm sure your friend believes that, but why blame one man when hundreds of democrats over 2 decades of almost exclusive rule are the ones who have put the destructive policies in place.

Most people have short memories and lash out at the most visible ones currently in the news. If it makes your friend feel better, so be it. After all, Christie was elected in a deep blue state by the voters because they knew the state was in deep trouble. While Christie has been able to make some reforms, he basically his putting his finger in the dike and once he is gone, well, you know the rest.

Jeb adheres to the old tried and true Bush tactic:

1. Stand aside and do nothing

2. Let Liberals run wild until they achieve total victory

3. Complain that there wasn't a thing you could do because:

a. following procedure

b. following the law

c. let the process play out

d. rise above the fray

e. no legal standing to do anything

f. reaching across the aisle / bi-partisan

g. appeal to the Moderates

4. Once completely defeated and humiliated, ask for donations to fight this injustice!

Besides running for President, exactly what does JEB! do for work, sell overpriced Guacamole Bowls?

Love Trump or hate him, imagine where we would be right now if he hadn’t decided to run.

JEB! would be the Belle of the Ball with his Date Rubio at his side and Cruz would be helping Kasich’s Dad deliver Mail.

Bush: I will not blame Obama ‘for a single thing’>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Jeb is not even in our world. We need someone who will pull the trigger on every liberal fascist who dares expose an eyebrow above ground zero, after Nov. 2016, including the current traitor in the White Hut.

I think you’ve got Gen. MacArthur confused with Gen. Patton.

No, I wouldn’t blame Obama for just a single thing...I’d blame Obama for damned near EVERYthing!

You forgot, be Prudent...

Yes exactly!

After watching 25 years of Republican sissy surrender monkeys, I finally realized that they're not even trying to win.

At least I don't think they are. I could be wrong.

They act like they're fighting to "good fight", but it's just a money-making scam to ask for donations.

I did. I listened to Trump’s speech and he talked about both Gen. MacArthur confused with Gen. Patton. I forgot which one did the slapping. It was Gen. Patton, God bless his soul.

Because Hussein’s Un-Affordable Care act (HUAC) must’ve been a bipartisan problem.

Edit:
Thank you. I did confuse the two. I listened to Trump’s speech and he talked about both Gen. MacArthur and Gen. Patton. I forgot which one did the slapping. After checking with the speech it was Gen. Patton, God bless his soul.

In a way Jeb is right. Much of the blame goes to the media and voters that accept what it tells them.

Yeah, that time-honored “compassionate conservative” strategy of never attacking your opponents or Democrat predecessors really served your brother well in the long run, didn’t it, Jeb? </sarc>
