Cruz more Dangerous than Trump
Youtube ^ | Robert Riech

Posted on 02/21/2016 12:44:52 PM PST by PA-LU Student

This is a video, of the Head of the Berkeley school of Governent. He served in the administrations of Ford, Carter, and Clinton. He was the Secretary of Labor for President Clinton from 1993 to 1997. In the video, he details who is the biggest threat to liberal, socialist, or communist agenda. Hint it is not Donald Trump. The video is two minutes long, but very enlightening about how the left views our leading contenders for President.

Well, with shining endorsements from Carter, Harry Reid, and Robert Reich, any Trump supporter should be proud to be in such great company...

Trump standing up to the Pope may look courageous to you, but it gains me nothing because the Pope has no political power.

I want to know if Trump has the courage to stand up to McConnell and Schumer, both of whom Trump has supported and said and can work with.

My guess is, probably not.

So we have Glenn Beck asking people to fast for Ted Cruz, and you accuse Trump supporters of worship?

Lets look again at what TPA actually is. It is a resolution by the congress, which gives the President authority over trade negotiations. It also sets the parameters of what type of deal the President can seek. Any person who is for free trade and enterprise will support TPA. If the deal that comes back is not good then opposition to it is okay.

If Ted Cruz is working for the Globalists than pray tell, why did he not only argue but win the case of Medellin VS. Texas. A case which secured American Sovereignty. I don’t know about the claim about Sessions, however it did not seem to hurt him in the least when Sessions came out and supported Cruz’s account of the battle over amnesty.

Maybe when the Bill came back to the Senate he could not vote for it because he had already got an inkling of what was coming from it. Maybe the House changed it.

So, Cruz can’t work with people in Washington thereby making his doing anything in Washington impossible. At the same time he was working with Paul Ryan in Washington to supposedly subvert American sovereignty. Which is it can he or can’t he work with people. You can’t have it both ways.

Why are you mad at me? The only thing I did was to post a link about Trump’s problem with his neighbors.

I didn’t think there would be anything wrong with doing that.

Watch this 2-minute video!

~~~~~~~~~~~
When the caretaker failed to show up with the key, I got stuck for an hour with Reich in the foyer of a venue where we were both to be speaking.
The guy is a classic liberal scumbag -- but he is one da*ned-smart scumbag....
Everyone on FR should listen closely when Reich the Roach explains why he is terrified of Cruz and conversely, why Trump doesn't scare him one bit!
Reich: "Trump has no firm principles other than getting money, getting attention, and getting power."
Wake up, all you so-called, "conservatives"!!!
Reich just unequivocally told the world whom liberals fear -- and,  it ain't Trump!!!
Biggest ‘cadre’ you'll ever see!
fwiw, the nonsense I was referring to was the statement that Trump says whatever pops into his head. Even if one thinks Trump is a loon, it is utterly foolish to think he does not have a pulse on what the public is thinking. And it is not by coincidence. He has done a careful examination of the mess we are in.
I was at best a tepid Trump supporter until recently. There was a part of me that hoped Cruz would become the awesome candidate that most presumably felt he would become based on his past. Unfortunately he has gone in the opposite direction and his many wise guy supporters certainly aren't helping him any.
I have to add that I am especially surprised by Sarah Palin’s obvious dislike for Cruz. That did not come out of the clear blue sky. Insert wiseguy reply here_________________________________.
What TPA actually is, is an Obama/globalist initiative. Since when has Obama tried to further the interest of the United States?
TPA was passed in order to get TPP passed, which at the time of the TPA debate, was under top secret constraints.
Everybody likes trade. But the reason why the United States has not much manufacturing left, and what little is left, is moving out because of the free trade agreements. Ford, Nabisco, Carrier Air Conditioning are the latest examples. Are you cool with that? The workers in Mexico will get about three dollars an hour. Those savings will not be passed on to the American consumer.
He did not vote for TPA the second time because the public was alerted and he got too much flak for supporting it.
I never said a word about Cruz “can’t work with people in Washington”. He has been doing a fairly good job.
He did make a show of opposing Obamacare, knowing full well that it was an useless effort, but he did it for resume enhancement for the campaign trail.
Sessions told Levin a week or so ago that it was the defeat of Cantor in Virginia that defeated the amnesty bill. The amnesty bill had passed the Senate with 68 votes. That was how much effect Cruz had on the vote.
My liberal friends cannot stand Trump, but they absolutely loath Cruz.
I on the other hand believe that for all his good points Cruz does not appeal to republican voters (explained by Trump victories) and he certainly does not appeal to democrat voters. So, in the general election who can we count on to defeat Hillary?
I know that you all love Cruz for his principles and positions, but in the case of immigration and refugee relocation and jobs overseas, Trump has been the instigator of the discussions. I give him props for this and my support. I do not think Cruz can take the general, but maybe there is a place in a Trump administration for him.
Well TPP may have been in the works, but to say Cruz want’s american jobs to go oversees is not very fair to Cruz’s position. I look at what is going on with those companies leaving America, and it has nothing to do with the trade deals. It has to do with the vast reams of tax laws, environmental regulations, and labor regulations crippling the economy. Trump people and Trump himself, not you possibly I haven’t gone through your posting history, have stated that he can’t get things done because he is not liked and doesn’t get along with people.
No product deriving from the Bush machine and the shadowy, dodgy fun and games of the Cold War Cuban fiasco is going to upset the status quo. Cruz spoons a CFR operative at night. He is a stalking horse. A construct.
