Rush Limbaugh Goes Full Nutter - The Most Illogical Pretzel Argument Ever Presented
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | 2-25-2016 | sundance

I know from the comments section many people have discussed how bizarre the recent ravings of Rush Limbaugh have become. However, I had not spent time listening to them, until this happened.

As far as I can tell this was actually broadcast by Rush Limbaugh yesterday. To say he’s contracted a viral strain of election cycle cognitive dissonance would be a severe understatement. Listen to this logic:

I know from the comments section many people have discussed how bizarre the recent ravings of Rush Limbaugh have become. However, I had not spent time listening to them, until this happened.

As far as I can tell this was actually broadcast by Rush Limbaugh yesterday. To say he’s contracted a viral strain of election cycle cognitive dissonance would be a severe understatement. Listen to this logic:

If Ted Cruz wants to win he’s got to focus exclusively on attacking Trump. Why? Because Cruz has to realize Marco Rubio is not going to drop out. If Rubio is not going to drop out, Rubio is not the obstacle – Trump is…

See if you can follow this logic. Marco Rubio is not going to leave the race, therefore it is the better course to attack the stronger frontrunner because, well, according to the Limbaugh logic, Trump winning in all the contests must mean he is positioned to leave the race – or something.

Seriously, this is what Rush Limbaugh is presenting to his audience. This makes absolutely ZERO sense. This is completely nonsensical. This is epic level moonbattery.

What makes Limbaugh think Donald Trump, a candidate who has won three consecutive resounding victories, is less disposed to staying in the presidential race than a freshman senator who has won absolutely no primary contests?

…And if Trump is no less committed to exit, then how does it make more sense to spend time trying to eliminate the stronger of the two candidate options?

We have heard rumors there are times when ineffective “gaslighting” can lead to absolutely insane expressions of logic. It would appear this rumor is profoundly true.

People pay this guy to hear this stuff?

You worshipers are Obamabot clones. Emotional, belligerent. Like I said, the only links you people believe are the "Praise Trump!" links. I won't give Sundance hits by searching his site for his inconsistencies....because I don't care what you think. I have lost respect for some FReepers over their blind worship. Pros and Cons of something used to be debated on here with some very in depth insights. That no longer holds true. The circular firing squad is in full "Shoot on sight!" mode.

It's like coming home and finding your house Occupied...

True.

Lots of times Rush presents someone else’s argument, even a long argument, in order to explain it, dissect it or mock it.

Many times I have heard drop-in listeners later claim that Rush came out for this or that, when nothing of the kind actually happened.

You believe a "grocery store" worker knows more than Shapiro, Levin, Rush and a myriad of others who are Conservative and successful. If they aren't on the Trump Train they're, what?, traitors? Not conservative? Unworthy of giving an opinion? They are absolutely shredded while the grocery worker is praised as insightful and savvy. Just because TRUMP!

You worship. I have stuff to do.

I requested a link, and you come at me with that much hostility? It’s disproportionate.

‘Lots of times Rush presents someone else’s argument, even a long argument, in order to explain it, dissect it or mock it.’

That’s been my experience with Rush, too. In this case, no one wants to say why Rush read this particular argument. I.e.: whether to explain it, dissect it., etc. Some are saying he had no reason at all for reading it. Doesn’t sound like Rush’s MO, but I haven’t had time to listen to the YouTube segment yet.

Did Wilson state in so many words that Johnson was long gone at the beginning of his encounter with Brown?

http://www.scribd.com/doc/248128351/Darren-Wilson-Testimony

Q: Is Dorian Johnson anywhere around?
A: I never saw him around after the very beginning. Once he walked past my car, I never saw him again.

The reason that Johnson was not charged with assaulting Wilson, was because Wilson testified that Brown and ONLY Brown assaulted him.

Sundance is a writer of fantasy:

“#4) Lastly, and this one REALLY stuns me, in that no-one in the media has picked up on it: why is Dorian Johnson allowed to get away with denying his physical involvement in attacking Darren Wilson?

Especially when there is absolute physical evidence that proves Dorian was an active participant in the physical assault.”

I take it you have a low opinion of the working man.

How sad for you.

I read that Wilson said he found the pair walking together, and blocked them both with his car. Are you saying he found only Brown?

Well, considering Levin, Rush, et al., are the “working man” it must be you that has a low opinion of the working man.

How sad for you.

I tried to access for free it on his website. It won’t let me without being a 24/7 member. You made the claim, so prove it.

Pffft! If Sundance weren’t a lying hack he wouldn’t be working in a grocery store, he’d be on with Rush, Levin et al.

Would you go to your grocery store clerk and ask him to operate on you or for tax advice. Somehow, I doubt it.

Well, that’s exactly what you’re doing. Some guy sets up a website, spouts out an opinion that you like, and suddenly he’s a genius.

It is absolutely emotion based which is what brought us Obama worship. Now we have Trump worship and I'm not into it.

I never saw what all the fuss was about with Obama. My brother would go on and on about what an inspiring speaker Obama was, the greatest ever, etc, and I just never saw it.

Now Trump. I am just not feeling it.

The answer is perfectly clear to anyone who reads the testimony. The more relevant question: Is this complete bull**** posted by Sundance even defensible in light of that testimony?

Much of what is posted “that questions Trump” is pot shots. Pot shots aren’t right no matter who does them (no, not even Trump himself).
