WHO IS PARTICIPATING IN THE DEBATE? Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson; U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas; Ohio Gov. John Kasich; U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, and businessman Donald Trump.
WHO IS MODERATING THE DEBATE? Wolf Blitzer of CNN will moderate the debate. Telemundo's Maria Celeste Arrarás, conservative talk radio host Hugh Hewitt and CNN's Chief Political Correspondent Dana Bash will also ask questions of the candidates.
HOW DID THE QUALIFY FOR THE DEBATE? Candidates needed to file a statement of candidacy with the Federal Election Commission, be actively campaigning for the Republican nomination and meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Have received support from at least 5 percent of those who attended the Republican Iowa caucuses.
- Have received at least 5 percent of the overall vote in the New Hampshire primary.
- Receive at least 5 percent of the overall vote in the South Carolina primary.
- Receive at least 5 percent support in the Nevada caucuses.

Well clearly that’s hyperbole.
I think we can’t be robots forever getting offended over figures of speech.
Come on, a little intellectual honesty here.
The systems did work for those countries, they were poorly populated without medical access and government systems got better access to the people. I believe they will outgrow the system and private healthcare will be a larger part of the picture in both countries.
In 2000 Trump said that the systems worked there and perhaps in an earlier stage would have worked here but not now (2003). His plan for America is free market with increased competition across state lines, HSAs and a separate saftey net for the indigent. VA to be able to use the standard system. Many people are confused by his Universal Health Care term.
