Chris Christie Endorses Donald Trump
The New York Times ^ | February 25, 2016 | Staff

Posted on 02/26/2016 9:50:55 AM PST by abb

Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey endorsed Donald J. Trump on Friday, a major turn in a wild race and one that gives the New York businessman a major boost as he heads into the pivotal Super Tuesday contests.

Mr. Christie was a candidate himself until he came in sixth place in New Hampshire’s primary. But his backing of Mr. Trump comes after weeks of him saying that it was time for the “entertainment” portion of the race to end, and as he had said that the type of executive leadership that a governor has is important.

Trump just snatched the news cycle again away from the dumb debate last night.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

BingbaddaBING! You got it exactly right after 170 posters who did not.

Now for the next 3 days Christie will be campaigning with Trump throughout Texas and several other Super T States, and they will become the Center Stage Act in the campaign for the next three days.

Watch Trumps numbers rocket over the next few days, leaving both Cruz and Rubio behind in the dust in both Texas and Florida.

Funny stuff the zombies will rationalize away.

Do you people even think before posting... Ugh, I guess not. Trump has been endorsed by Sarah Palin, Jerry Falwell jr. and Sheriff Joe Arpaio!!

Your 'spirit filled' hypocrite endorsed Cabana boy Rubes, and says he is in love with the IRS.

Trump is showing his 'America first' appeal.

I will never forgive Christie for his embrace of Obama during the 2012 election even in a natural disaster. However, The enemy of my enemy is my friend applies in the case of attacking Rubio.

Tony Soprano speaks. And, it doesn’t matter what Mussolini said.... good Lord. Listen to yourself, guaranteeing some version of left of center Statist will get the WH, most likely Hitlery, you know— donald’s friend and compadre.

Ignorance is educable as to the “ineligible” question— which is, ah, not one the obamaumaoites ought to bring up with the fraud they are proven to have committed.

BTW if, Lord forbid trump is the candidate (and btw it is the DEMOCRAT machine laughing gleefully that he, the “malleable” one can be directed by media and others to f up the convention and the delegates system, in the face of the DNC being freaking bankrupt and entirely dependent on hill and bill’s graft foundation) it will be a held nose vote for any conservative to make.

People become fickle when their jobs are gone to China and Mexico. People become fickle when no one built the wall to stop illegals flooding in and bringing drugs and crime.

People become fickle when every career politician is in the pockets of uber-rich donors and pushing the cheap labor express.

Despite Cruzs attacks on his partys donor class and establishment, the Texas senator Ted Cruz^s GOP campaign has received $37 million from just four donors.

The Wilks family of Cisco, Texas, New York hedge fund tycoon Bob Mercer, Texas energy investor Toby Neugebauer and Illinois manufacturing moguls Dick and Liz Uihlein.

Cruz pushing Path to Legal Status for ALL Illegals

I have a similar opinion of Christie as I do of Trump. This can’t change my opinion. I will admit Christie is more honest than is Trump but their liberalism is apparently similar.

Chris Cristie, RINO. Doesn’t that make Donald a RINO or at least a RINO herder?

Just getting on the RINO endorsement bus with Cruz, after Cruz endorsed Rubio over Trump, last night.

NJ moderate supports the NY liberal. He keeps racking up the RINO support while making everyone believe hes not one of them.

Funny stuff the zombies will rationalize away.

The most succinct and truthful statement on this thread.

Yep, look forward to an administration run by all the northeastern moderate RINOs Trump can pull together. Christie, Giuliani for starters. We all have New York values now.

I'm pretty sure he has Sarah Palin slotted for something.

Hey, most of us are Republicans here; the primary is supposed to be an intra-family squabble, not a fight to the death. There need to be some limits on what we say about our fellow Republicans. Christie is not the enemy, Hillary/Sanders/Obama are the enemies.

I am quite amazed at how GREAT Trump is at this game!!!

---

Take into account Trump has never, ever run in an election before and he is 69 or 70 years old. To be that mentally agile and this adept your first go around is amazing even if you hate him that is undeniable.

At this rate, Obama will endorse Trump.

Obama endorses Trump and nominates his sister to the supreme court. Trumpster divers are happy. Obama is happy. Hillary is happy that the huge Obama monkey is off her back. Trump loses in a landslide to Hillary.

...Anyone who lives in NJ knows Christie is not exactly moderate; he is as conservative as we could hope for in a statewide office. He is anti-abortion, fights the teachers’ unions (the de facto owners of the Democratic Party), and vehemently anti-tax. Regardless of what others may think, he has all the right enemies - and his critics here should look at the company they are joining in attacking him....

I so agree. I always liked Christie but the Trumpies loved slamming him. I think Christie will boost Trump.

I’m a Cruzer, I kind of already expected the end after Tuesday. Sure Cruz will win here in Texas but then it’s over.

I can’t wait to watch the Trump meltdowns when the ME and the economy go south.

Obama and the QE1,2,3,4 plus now negative interest rates not counting the $20trillion plus deficits and encouraging the Arabs to shut down our drill drill drill frackers.

If Obama dropped dead today, I would smile and say, “Thank God.”

As per my comments in previous post on this thread. Christie is everything true conservatives cannot stand in RINO land. Trump would be wise to distance himself.

You of course see the Mississippi game plan- the haley barbour approach (as they did to Daniels in favor of that idiot Cochran, who is in the club for life) to Cruz and the real TEA party. Trump cannot run as a conservative... so they do this, even as they really wanted YEB clampett!

Las Vergas Ron I am not crazy about this endorsement however I think Christy will wipe the floor with Rubio!!! Trump again sucks all the air out of room for Rubio!!! An endorsement is not a big deal but Christy can certainly help Trump with the GOP-e Rubio!!!

Chris Cristie, RINO. Doesn't that make Donald a RINO or at least a RINO herder?

If you can't herd RINOs you can't win the general election.

Cruz's vaunted inability to attract RINO support is a bug not a feature.

” Basically, you’re saying that status quo would be better than Trump....and status quo means nothing will change with the direction of our Country.

Respectfully disagree.”

The status quo is the Democrats pushing through garbage legislation and the establishment Republicans not stopping it. I do not like Rubio and if I could figure out what Trump really believes, could support him. But so far Trump makes me think he is liberal Democrat wrapped up in a coat so his true colors are not seen. He could be great but he could also be an absolute disaster. I think his overreach on Executive power would make Obama look tame.

Cruz for me although I liked Carson for awhile. Carson needs to drop out.

I think Presidents should act a bit civilized.
