Let's just get this out of the way first. Donald J. Trump is now highly favored to win the nomination and that's true even if the field winnows. The Donald's appeal is attitudinal, not ideological, which allows him to compete in majority rural, suburban and urban congressional districts, as opposed to the historical conservative vs. moderate dynamic that has traditionally been decided in the suburbs.
Because proportional delegates are awarded to candidates in a Republican primary based on the results of voting totals and thresholds in congressional districts, Trump is well-positioned to win the nomination. In fact, as I explained last week to Mr. John Fund at National Review, he can count on little more than his base to do so.
Not let's talk about the current status of the race.
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio pulled ahead of Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in the last two contests and polls second in several SEC states. That has strengthened the media narrative that a winnowing field can beat Mr. Trump one-one-one. However, the overall data and dynamics of the race show Sen. Cruz is a far stronger anti-Trump candidate overall than Sen. Rubio.

They both fell.
What I am saying is this: Sen. Rubio has been making the case that the governor and the Texas senator should get out of the race and allow him to take on Mr. Trump. And do what? Lose your own state?
Personally I wouldn't vote for Rubio - the lying little crap weasel amnesty shill - any sooner than I would vote for Trump.

Rubio and Cruz are not natural born citizens
No child of foreign nationals is a natural born citizen of the US.
Born here of citizen parents
Naturally a US citizen because there is no other possibility.
Rubio and Cruz think they should get away with it because Barry Soetoro/Barack Hussein Obama got away with it.
Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009, happened with the complete cooperation of both parties.
They want the Constitution changed without the hassle of amending the Constitution.
Confuse people about the clear meaning of a three word phrase and voila, every anchor baby and Winston Churchill is eligible.
The bench was the reason the GOP went along with the fig leaf resolution for McCain as cover for Obama.
Jindal, Rubio, Haley and Cruz were all up and comers and the future of the party and ineligible.
If Cruz is going to win something, he’d better start doing it.
But now, he’s going to have to do it without me.
I’ll vote for Kasich over the Cuban twins.
Your boy Cruz would.
Just shows Teddy is unprincipled.

Rubio and Cruz are not natural born citizens
This is certainly true.
If Rubio dropped out, nearly all his support would move to Cruz.
But if Cruz dropped out, most of his support would go to Trump.
Cruz also will probably win his home state of Texas, while Rubio will probably be crushed in Florida.
Just how many blacks do you think would actually vote for Cruz?
I agree, but I don’t think that Cruz will pull most of Rubio’s supporters. I think it will a relatively even split. Unless by most you mean a plurality.
Bingo.
Do you still plan on sitting it out and being content with a Hillary win if Cruz is not the nominee?
Cruz and Rubio are both about 2 weeks away from being back in their senate seats. Lets just get real about it. Ted will be lucky to squeak out a win in TX and Rubio is so far behind Trump in Fla its sad. They are done.
Its all over except for the weeping which will commence Tuesday night.
Neither one of them are strong.
Did you know Ted’s best friend, debate partner and college roomate is black?
Or any non-Democrat nominee? I have no idea...the only one I know offhand who’s voting for Cruz is Thomas Sowell...maybe the guy who wrote the article I posted, maybe Allen West...is that your point...that Hillary will dominate the black vote? If so, that’s no surprise...
The only real strength Rubio has is he is a good snake oil, used car or Florida swampland salesman. I do NOT see him becoming POTUS and hopefully numerous others feel the same. He is no “leader”.
So what?
What does that have to do with my question?
