Cruz Questions Trump's Ties to Mob-Linked

Republican Presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz questioned Sunday whether Donald Trump’s business ties to a twice-convicted felon with prior mafia associations, described late last year in an ABC News investigation, could eventually undermine Trump’s chances in a general election contest.

“The important point is, George, in the general election, Hillary Clinton is going to shine a light on all of this,” said Cruz, speaking on "This Week With George Stephanopoulos". “And Republican primary voters deserve to know.”

And this isn’t “crazy Beck” and his conspiracies. There is a long drawn out history should one decide to do their own investigative research. However I doubt many will. It’s as Trump says he could shoot someone and he’d still have his supporters. To this I have no doubt. He is truly the cult of personality. Thank goodness Jim Jones is long gone I fear his impact would be far greater today than decades ago.

For any person of any kind building or renovating in NY or Philly, having mob ties is inevitable. I'm a nice church lady and scout leader who lived around the mafia for years because I liked the Italian food market nearby. Many of their errand runners put roofing, ironwork, brick, tile or stucco on most the houses in our neighborhood. That's just the way it is.
