Just a day before Super Tuesday, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are about even in Oklahoma.
A poll released Monday shows Sanders in the lead in Oklahoma's Democratic primary, with a five-point lead over Clinton. That lead is within the poll's 5.7 percent margin of error.
Sanders polled at 48 percent to Clinton's 43 percent. Another 8 percent said they were undecided, and 1 percent said they planned to vote for another candidate.
Meanwhile, real estate mogul Donald Trump continued to lead the Republican field, with 35 percent. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz came in second, with 23 percent, and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio came in third, with 22 percent. The Republican poll has a 4.9 percent margin of error.
The survey of 703 Oklahoma likely voters was conducted by Monmouth University Polling Institute between Thursday and Sunday.
They won’t fit where she’s going.
So, how many actual socialist/communists do you think live here in the state? I would guess most are in Tulsa and Norman, and would be less than 10,000? That would be less than 0.1% of registered Democrat voters.
Surely there aren’t more than that...?
My guess is 250k, all clustered in Tulsa, Ok city, Norman, Lawton and smaller college towns. Most are not card carrying socialist or communists, but are 100% supportive of anyone spouting that ideology couched in social justice, enviro justice or some line of dem doublespeak. Card carriers are probably like your guess, 10k galloping true believers of Marx.
The fools I refer to earlier are just ignorant who get their opinion forming ideas from sources like morning network gab fests, comedy shows and whatever some empty headed Hollywood or music celeb spouts.
That type is well represented here, but far less so than about 48 or 49 other states
Apese the Bern outs.
