If Cruz and Rubio contest the Winner-Take-All and Winner-Take-Most states, Donald Trump will walk away with all the delegates with 35-40% of the votes, and the nomination.
The only way for Cruz or Rubio to win this thing is for one or the other of them to win these crucial Winner-Take-All/Most primaries.
So the path forward is for Cruz and Rubio to cross-endorse one another in each of the remaining Winner-Take-All/Most primaries, depending on which one is doing strongest in that particular state. Between the two of them, they have enough support to win all of the remaining Winner-Take-All/Most primaries.
They can continue to go head-to-head in all of the Proportional Distribution primaries.
Then at the Convention, the one with the most delegates gets the endorsement of the other, and the other gets the VEEP nomination.
If your turn off the snark, this what remains:
About 30% want Cruz
About 30% want Rubio
About 35% want Trump
The problem is to make this math result in something other than a Trump win, because that way both Rubio and Cruz lose. It is in each of their own interests to keep that from happening.
Desperate times call for desperate measures, my FRiend...
When that happens ... the mask will finally be off.
You team up with GOPe, then you are GOPe.
If Drumph was donating money to and publicly supporting the politicians who backed the gang of 8 bill, how is it dishonest to say that?
Not that crazy. Your choice is Trump or Hillary. Do, or do not. There is no try.
Trump now has 285 delegates (more than Cruz, Rubes, and the mailman put together) and two 50% wins. Cruz has no 50% wins and now no possibility of any.
Times are desperate when the party's leading candidate leads because of the votes of the party faithful?
I understand fighting tooth and nail for your candidate(s) in the primaries. But does that include plotting to thwart the will of the voters?
I also understand that the rules allow for such maneuvering. But that's within the letter of the law (rules) but is it really within it's spirit?
If no one gets the required number of delegates, we have a brokered convention. A brokered convention will give us another RINO and Hillary as winner.
Saddest part is the venom on this forum. We used to reserve that for the Dems. I think we all want what is best for America but disagree on what it is. The name calling and accusing others of not conservative or worse not Christian because some on both sides think only they define those terms is horrible.
My hope is turning quickly to despair because whoever gets the nomination seems it will leave such hate. In that case even if we win, we lose and the Dems laugh on.
Don’t you think the voters would see through this little game?
It isnt snark. It is mocking Christianity. I honestly never thought I would see FR get to the point where openly mocking Christianity was tolerated. I guess in defense of the new savior anything goes. They take their lessons on criticising conservatives from the godless liberals and come here and spew it.
Its pretty disturbing that it is allowed to go on.
Cross-endorse? Ha! They’re more likely to cross-dress.
and, for example, how does Cruz help Rubio in NY or NJ? you know those states with those unacceptable values?
When that happens ... the mask will finally be off.

Yep
Screw Trump Voters and can you say Preident Hillary Clinton, Senate Majority Leader Chucl Shumer and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelsi
Cruz and Rubio can win by showing respect for the Constitution, much weakened already by Obama, and quitting the race for an office that does not lawfully admit naturalized citizen.
NEXT?
Sigh. The delusion is strong with this one.

But the’re not on the same team. And no reason to be.
