Paul Ryan needs to pay a big price regardless.

And McConnell too.

Just a word of warning...The Founding Fathers fractured the government for a reason. James Madison wanted three branches for checks and balances.

There is absolutely nothing stronger than a “I’ll have your berries hanging from my Christmas Tree as ornaments if you don’t get with the program” to keep the underlings in tow. :0)

I suggest that Ryan do the right thing, or We the People will make damn sure there will be hell to pay. Got it, Paulie?

I suspect this was a warning shot in response to the fantasy speculations among the establishment...

Hijacking a brokered convention and nominating Paul Ryan as the "consensus candidate that could unite the party."

I do not think it was an indication of a "my way or the highway" approach to dealing with Congress generally.

I know people get all wrapped up with the concept of "negotiation," but that is exactly what the Framers intended with co-equal branches of government.

I do not think you can take a "no compromise" position on every issue and call yourself a Constitutionalist.

Trump is being kind to Ryan and showing respect for his position. But on the other side of the coin, he is calmly inviting Ryan to open his eyes and realize that Ryan is just a little wet behind the ears and has been told most of his young life just how wonderful he is .. and Ryan believes it.

His education is about to begin and a street smart billionaire with 40 hotels around the world is not about to let you prance around with your little grin and paper thin resume. Grow your little muslim beard face hair and prepare to be dry shaved.

Yeah, but unfortunately, any similarities between Obama and the ever-fascist, bullying, petulant and vindictive Donald Trump are lost on the Trump camp.

As well as logic, reality, truth, etc....all foreign concepts, also, to them. Which is why Trump is doing so well in the primaries. Well, that...and the fact that Democrats are crossing over, once again, and voting for Trump....skewing the election...just like they did in 2008 for McCain and in 2012 for Romney.

Pretty clear when you look at how Cruz is winning most of the closed primaries....and Trump wins most of the open primaries.

Same thing any President does when a player on his side in Congress decides their ego overrides the will of the voters. Simply ask his voters at the next election to send the recalcitrant home and replace him with a rational adult replacement.

He's not a guy I'd want spending any time thinking about me.

My advice to Paul Ryan is to pretend Trump is Obama and just pass all of his agenda and legislation.

Sounds like tough talk but if Trump and Ryan work together and pass stuff that we hate, Trump can go back to this comment which will technically be true.
