Romney - Not One Word About ...
Vanity

Posted on 03/03/2016 8:47:53 AM PST by Williams

Illegal immigration! Not one word because that is what Romney's speech is all about.

And he knows the American people reject the GOPe on that topic.

Plus his speech was full of lies and exaggerations about Trump.

And he of course listed Kasich and Rubio ahead of Cruz because they will do the GOPe bidding on illegals.

Oh at the end he said Mexicans are being used as "scapegoats". I guess they aren't illegal immigrants Trump "imagined" that.

Cruz calls McConnell a liar

On more than one occasion Cruz took on McConnell. Some might also remember who donated to McConnell's election. Trump.

I know what you mean, but “other POWs” didn't sell us down the river and not hold up their pledge to defend the Constitution of the USA.

Any given McCain thread (since Obama took the presidency from him) has not been kind at all. And rightfully so.

Absolutely; if Cruz were ahead now, you’d see the same GOPe panic and attacks, just with different names.

Yep

I vote your comment up to No. 1.

“Now to figure out how to publicly deregister from the Republican Party... I want out.”

But that’s what they want. I say that taking it over is better and more satisfying. Bwahahahaha!

Hillary is a dud.Even the DNC recognizes that

While a good chunk of Bernie's support is coming from naive college kids who want freebies in life, I think the majority of his voters are mainstream Democrats who just don't like Hillary and have no other option. With any luck those people won't be sufficiently motivated for vote for Hillary in the general election.

Mitt is doing the bidding for the LDS Church as well. Mexico and Latin American converts are really important to expanding the ranks of the Church.

Mitt Romney is a desperate loser. He’s run for the presidency multiple times and still can’t make himself relevant. There were so many lies in his little idiotic speech, they’re not worth addressing. However, as for Trump’s vulgarity, I will say this. I don’t care what the mechanic says under my hood as long as he gets my car back on the road.

I understand the McCain story, a friend flew with him in the very same unit. But that doesn’t mean that other POWs weren’t heroes. I am not remotely talking about McCain, I am referring to the POWs that Trump as potential POTUS, should have been more aware of and been capable of holding his tongue. Instead he hurled an unnecessary insult. In the long run I will probably be forced to vote for Trump in my primary, we will see, but I’m not going to like it for this reason.

So if he’s the POTUS and some of our guys are captured, what’s he going to do, a BENGHAZI? Your problem, you got captured?

Our Egyptian Embassy was attacked that prior afternoon. Our forces should have been up and ready by evening, (Benghazi).

Trashing a few people? How about trashing the sacrifice of POWs, by asserting that if a soldier is captured, it is their fault because they were captured?

Anyone who defends Trumps statement is in Hillary territory regarding Benghazi.

You are so wrong. To pick apart one statement is like picking apart one verse in the Bible. I'm a Cruzer yet Trump loves our Vets, Military, Police.

My opinion I think it’s imperative Trump and Cruz put aside their acrimony. Agree no attacks on each other. They will go after foam boy and the GOPe big time. Agreement will be that if Cruz doesn’t have the delegates to win by the convention, Cruz will swing his support to Trump and something good will be given to Cruz for that obviously. Cruz to be consistent has to maintain an anti-establishment position to be consistent. The GOPe wants him to morph into their image. He must resist this at all costs. The winds of change are moving throughout the land.

Those people are ready to bring out the guillotine.

The interesting thing is that Facebook isn't anonymous. These people aren't hiding their identity. They're coming right out after Romney, using their full names in front of the "friends."

Facebook must have some mechanism to bring your friends' comments up when you're looking at something that long. My cousin's blistering comment was right up front.

I had hoped it would go this way, but judging from the last debate, Cruz would rather throw in his lot with Rubio and the RNC (even though the Republican establishment has hated him as much as they hate Trump). He's either doing this on the deluded notion that he can still win the nomination outright, which is naive but at least not dishonorable, or he has genuine loyalty to the GOP establishment in spite of it all. Maybe the RNC cut him a better deal than Trump could, e.g. a promised VP slot to whoever they nominate (Rubio, or perhaps Romney or Bush) at a brokered convention.
