McCain Follows Romney In Urging Voters To Think Twice About Trump

John McCain followed Mitt Romney on Thursday in blistering Donald Trump, warning that voters should think "long and hard" before making him commander in chief.

“I share the concerns about Donald Trump that my friend and former Republican nominee, Mitt Romney, described in his speech today,” said the Arizona senator and 2008 Republican nominee.

I’m actually starting to wonder if Trump ISN’T establishment.

(R)Money and McCainiac HAVE to know that their criticisms only *help* Trump.

Trump is not donor class and that is what this is all about. Cruzies point to his bank loans but it’s not similar at all to being part of the bought and paid for career politican uniparty machine. Cruz cross them his career is over.

Romney is speaking for the donor class now. The people that voted for him and supported him were duped and we know it.

LOL Bob Dole will have his press conference any minute now.

I think Trump is a fake. He has a lifelong liberal track record. I agree with what Indiana Senator James Watson said about Wendell Willkie, that he didn't mind if “the town whore” joined the church, but she should not lead the choir the first week.

HOWEVER, the establishment has given us Dole, McCain, Romney and told conservatives to hold their nose and support the party, only to lead us to defeat.

I hope Cruz can beat Trump, but I blame the establishment for Trump's creation; they have no right to lecture me now.

As a Cruz supporter, Mitt and McCain need to shut the hell up since they are helping the liberal Hillary supporter Trump by opening their traps.

Trump is simply a far better bet to put the Left into disarray in November.

Trump is the left! He is putting the right in disarray not the left!

And Trump is more Conservative, instinctively, than Romney ever was.

I don't think Trump is conservative. He does not favor a limited government, he does not believe in free markets, he is not for moral character and he seems to have a disdain for the constitution. I am no fan of Mitt, but Trump is not more conservative and his instincts are pure democrat populism.

Oddly enough I really think they're totally clueless. Not that Tom Brokaw is any exemplar, but when asked about why he thought there was so much anger in the Republican base his answer was (are you ready for this?) "Intractable Republican opposition to 0bama's agenda."

That along with the incomprehensible arrogance of the self anointed "elite" of not only thinking that they know what best for everyone - meaning how best to line their own pockets, but thinking that the people (ie the people in this country who actually work for a living) are stupid enough to agree with them.

Bingo! McCain reserves his venom for his “fellow” Republicans and almost never says a critical word about the Dems, unless it is couched in “niceties”? Is there a worthless war anywhere in the Mideast that McCain and his acolyte, Lindsay Graham haven’t advocated for US military intervention??

The same goes for Myth. He never said anything bad about Iman Obama and still has not. He spews his venom on Trump after asking Trump to support his failure as a presidential candidate.

I’m with you. It’s as if they are trying to get the rest of us to support Trump with reverse psychology. Possibly even Democrats too? Nothing else makes any sense to me.

Let’s see the last 2 RINO globalist sock puppets that somehow lost to a community organizer that hates America come out and oppose Trump. That is a win for Trump. The RINOs that control the GOP are so out of touch.

Pointed this out to one freeper who still won’t believe it, then they denied Romney praised Ted in his speech.

There must be something really bad, that the whole leftist cabal, including the crony Wall Street - government, its servants, and its media, doesn’t want an outsider to come in and find out. The whole cabal is going scorched earth in order to try to destroy an outsider like Trump and prevent him from being president. The corruption must run very deep within the whole cabal.

If my prayers are answered, there will eventually be tribunals for all this corruption and for betraying our Constitution. Pray for justice to be done.

was with Ted until today.
After seeing what I have seen since the debate and then seeing Romney, the establishment and Ted getting all cozy then I am now voting for Trump.

Big mistake Ted, you should have kept away from the establishment,.
