During the Friday broadcast of his radio show, Glenn Beck said that if he were present at Thursday night’s Republican debate, and “had a knife,” he would have stabbed Donald Trump.
“I don’t know what I would have done if I was sitting in” Cruz or Rubio’s shoes, Beck stated. “I can’t say it that way. If I were on the stage, I would have said, ‘have you been listening to him tonight? Have you been listening to what I say about him?’ I believe these things.”
“If I was close enough and had a knife, the stabbing just wouldn’t stop.”
The Secret Service has not responded to TheDC’s initial inquiry on the matter.
The animosity toward Trump of some Republicans/conservatives is just beyond my understanding. I was a big-time supporter of Cruz until I realized he could no more beat the Hag than the losers McCain or Romney could beat a far-left pot-banging, race-baiting/poverty pimp. A task that should have been relatively simple.
Ted Cruz had better “disavow” Beck for real. DJT has nothing to do with David Duke yet is asked ad nauseum to disavow, meanwhile Ted parades around with someone publicly professing intent to assassinate the GOP front runner. WOW! Hello media, anybody out there?

Cruz will never denounce Beck. Not going to happen. You’re right. He should. But he won’t. Cruz is surrounded by sleezy operatives who have no problem with Beck’s rhetoric.
Perfectly said Ron. There is no comparison with Cruz’s Beck and the fake KKK endorsement aimed at Trump.

Surely a moderator will bring this up and ask Cruz to denounce Beck at the next debate, right?
YOu must understand that Beck is always on a dry drunk. He will fly off the handles and say things, like he did against Sarah, then come out the next day and apology, sometimes cry.
This is the way he gets attention. He will apologize tomorrow, and ask forgiveness, and ask Donald to come on his show.
This is threat, from someone who potentially could get close to Trump.
Aren't there laws against threats of physical harm?
What an absolute embarrassment he has made of himself in the last few years.
Ye gads...never though I would see the day where a presidential candidate would have to wear armor to protect himself from members of his own party (Milt, Juan McCain) or his opponents in his own party.
My take on Beck as well. Have known several “dry drunks” in my life.
All too often they are the wife beaters or worse.
It is time for him to go....

OMG, this manic nutcase wants to literally and violently KILL Donald Trump! Can you imagine if someone associated with Trump would have said this?!
No wonder the man I used to have such great respect for, Ted Cruz, has become unrecognizable to me now. He has been filled with everything from irrational paranoia from Glenn Beck to lying sleaze from his campaign staff.
If Cruz doesn’t condemn this despicable remark and distance himself from Beck once and for all, the damage to his reputation will be irreparable.
