For the purposes of a general discussion, yes. Most UK Muslims come from SE Asia, Pakistan. Shorthand for a thread argument, this isn’t an academic paper.

We are discussing communities/areas within cities and towns. Like it or not, certain religious/ethnic groups congregate together. No, Islam isn’t an ethnic group obviously, but the UK Muslim areas will be of similar ethnic roots, given most are from Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The black UK communities are a mix of Caribbean and African origin. Mostly Christian, but some Muslims.

Yep. In London muslims are more than 14% of the population. In some towns around London it is over 50%. They have total influence. There are now muslim “no-go” zones in London where non-muslims are not allowed.

Yes, there are SOME towns in England which are populated by sizeable Muslim populations. None of the UK freepers here, inc myself, have denied this, despite your claims. And yes, London is partly Muslim, but then cities are a mix of peoples. London is also part-white, part-black, part-Sikh, part-Hindu, part-Greek........you get the picture.
No, they do not have total influence. For all the noise of the extremists, UK Muslims actually have no major social, economic or political power. The most pro-Muslim MP is a white Scotsman!. George Galloway.
The UK, unlike the US, is a country where the power still lies in white middle class and upper class men. Our PM is a white upper class man from Eton, of Anglo-Scots-Jewish-Welsh ancestry.
NO, there are areas where extreme young Muslims have TRIED to create no-go areas. BUT many have been arrested and jailed. There ARE troublesome Muslim areas in the UK, with radicalised youth, but that dosent mean they rule these areas. They may want to, they may try to. But the police and courts win.
NOR are there areas where the police do not enter. The recent stories about police and Muslims in the UK was a nonsense: needing permission and all that. Pure bunkum. I know police officers and journalists in England (a family member is a police officer in N England where there is a sizeable Muslim population and I have two friends in the press in London) and they have confirmed to me that’s its media hype.
DOES THE UK HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH ISLAM?. YES
IS THE UK NOW A MUSLIM STATE. OF COURSE NOT.
The UK remains 96% NON Muslim.
The UK remains 92% white.
Three parts of the UK are 1% Muslim or less: Scotland, NI and Wales.
