Ted Cruz Says Donald Trump's Voters Have "relatively low information" And Are "not that engaged"
CBN News ^ | March 10, 2016 | David Brody

Posted on 03/10/2016 6:23:01 AM PST by VitacoreVision

GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz tells The Brody File that the reason Donald Trump is performing well in the GOP race for president is because his voters are uninformed and not engaged in the process. “Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged and who are angry and they see him as an angry voice. Where we are beating him is when voters’ get more engaged and they get more informed.” Hunch: I’m thinking Trump and his “Silent Majority” may push back on this just a bit don’t you think? Lots to unpack here but for now, here’s the clip.

Our interview was done Wednesday afternoon in Miami.

Well done Cruz yet again you have shown your elitist distain for the voters, how you laugh at your hard core voters who won’t open their minds.

This comment by Cruz proves how fraudulent Cruz’s self serving battlefield conversion to TEA Party was. It couldn’t be any more clear now that he’s simply a careerist using anybody he can to climb up the ladder.

Was I “low info” when I was a Cruz supporter for many years until Cruz campaigned for Obama’s TPA? It really seems Cruz feels the base, his voters included, are low info. Cruz’s ivory tower is looking mighty high from where I am sitting on Main Street.

Ted even sounds like Bush now, or Harry Reid.

Only a small narrow group are drunk on the Cruz-koolaid.

“Rule #1 to being the smartest guy in the room is that you don’t go around telling everyone that you are.”

Well it must be announced to make sure everyone knows. I think Cruz supporters do a very good job of sticking their noses in the air and looking down on those who don’t kiss Cruz arse. They really are great at it.

heard the same talkin point off an establishment cruz voter last night. She said he loves the poorly educated and what she never said was how he loves the old, the young, the highly educated.

Seems the establishment has passed their talking points on to cruz who is very happy to repeat them.

So much for cruz being an outsider.

"So in response you support a candidate, Donald Trump, who has paid lip-service to conservative principles and voters?"

No, but I'll take a chance on a candidate who hasn't been part of undermining that lip-service and conservative principles over one who has.

Cruz is not the outsider you think he is.

That's like McCain calling Trump supporters 'crazies'. Ted stepped smack into it and will regret it before the debate tonight is over.

Yeah...but the obvious point from that is that *neither* of them are what they’re cracked up to be, and both will have tremendous difficulties overcoming the Hillary Machine.

“So Ted Cruz just insulted a massive number of GOP Trump supporters.”

That’s the ticket Teddy, pi$$ us all off, so if by some remote chance ( and I do mean remote) you get the nomination, we offended Trump supporters will be voting for him 3rd Party.

Cruz is way too above Trump and his supporters, can’t you tell? Cruz doesn’t need Trump. Cruz supporters are superior and are just going to win over the general electorate with their snotty attitude. It’s really appealing isn’t it?

Because Ted Cruz is just like Barack Obama. Do you even listen to yourself?

Many of Cruz’s supporters like Romney have all but stated they prefer Obama to Trump. Turn about is fair play, FRiend.

I think you need to stick your nose in the air a little higher next time. You don’t quite have the full snarl down,,but you’re close. It’s important you do it right to win even more votes for your man since he won’t be getting any support from the Trump camp.

Good job!

I guarantee when Trump made that “love the poorly educated” remark, he knew someone would take the bait. Took a while but genius Ted bit hook line and sinker lol

Pass the Dim Sum please!

In high school, Cruz's life changed forever when he went to a Chinese restaurant and opened a fateful fortune cookie...

Yeah, Cruz is only universally despised by the GOPe, actually fought against amnesty, open borders, Obamacare, all while Donald Trump was bank rolling its supporters, preferring foreigners to american workers, and outsourcing manufacturing of his goods.

Yeah, I'll take the principled conservative any day.

Now that a Bush is onboard, Cruz is starting to sound like all the rest of them.

The the plan. Cruz thinks his social Conservative voters are dumb enough to stay on the Cruz plantation while he tosses out insults while trolling the left of the GOP for anti-Trump votes.

I’ve had enough of Cruz’ arrogance and condescention to last a lifetime. Even then, it’s been way too much. He has all the charisma of a water moccasin.
