“There are too many wealthy donors corrupting the political process. I know how we fix it: elect one of them president!” — Trump voters

I’ve been on this thread (and watching debate). I’ll go look for a thread here. Elections being out the worst in some.

They all seem proud of their dads. I think they are trying to say had respect for their dad’s working. I have a different perspective on these guys running for President.
Obama didn’t even have a father who lived here and worked. Obama’s father lived in Kenya and probably wasn’t a mailman or bartender.

He lost his parents to a drunk driver, I had no idea, damn thats horrible. I disagree with Kasich on many issues but he doesn’t seem like a bad guy

Watching this debate and then reading this thread, and it’s like I’m watching a different debate.

Trump supporters seeing things that weren’t there and making ignoring things that were.

Case in point, your comment about Cruz being pissed and not shaking Trumps hand, is absolutely false. I’m watching it right now, and Cruz immediately turned when it was done, and shook hands with Donald, then turned and shook hands with Kasich, then turned the other way again and shook hands with Rubio, then stood at his podium, going over his papers, while all the other candidates exited the state.

No wonder things are so screwed up and there’s so much misinformation out there...you guys can’t even see actual events happen right in front of your face.

I saw Trump and Cruz shake hands.

Hmmmm... wonder if anything is in the works. Cruz is still jabbing at Trump talking to Wolf, post-debate.

Just read how with Luntz group Trump scored a 90 during some of his statements, the best he has done throughout all of the debates

Mr. Haney was also sneaky and forever trying to cheat Mr. Douglas.

But I love him!

Trump was the dominant figure in the room tonight.

Every one was playing to him and looking at him.

Cruz did that a lot.

There’s no doubt who won the debate - I think Trump showed a softer, more thoughtful side of himself this time.

He was in general election mode. And he knows none of his rivals can beat him.

Take it away, bottom line is Trump owned the night and the debate.

I can hardly tell them apart.

That's because the three lower-rated candidates are parroting everything Trump has been saying — and taking heat for, for saying it first — since the beginnig of his campaign. It's just starting to sink in with them lately. In some cases they quote him word for word, as if they thought of it. Pathetic.

I didn’t hear anyone yell at all tonight. Don’t know what debate you were watching, but no one even raised their voice.

Please. Trump takes advantage of every opportunity to get in front of the camera. I believe it’s why he says some of the outrageous things he says. He’s a reality tv personality. He knows how to manipulate the media and get attention. He’s very very good at it.

But I belive it explains why he is dominating. It’s not because he is the best, it is because he’s promoted the most. Just like Obama was. Just my $.02
==
No, it is because he is the best. He’s bested the media, the GoPe, and soon Hillary.

Did you actually watch the debate this time?

Unlike the last one where you were chiming in about what was said without even watching

With all due respect, he didn’t miss much if he failed to watch the last debate or the one before that. I wish I had not watched them.

Yes, money supply #1, tariff increase #2, and the thing that perpetuated the depression as DeCanio shows was the minimum wage law first introduced in 34 as a part of NRA. Job growth, as measured by work hours crashed even worse than 32-33.

Yes they did.
This was a mch better debate. Much more sunstance and policy.

At the end, when Trump was being interviewed, he told the guy doing the interview, “Look, I like Ted.”

I believe Trump throughout the debate and after is making a concerted effort to begin uniting the party.

I’m proud of him for that. It needs doing, and as the leader in delegates and votes and wins, he is now trying to lead the way in that.

That’s a good thing.

It’s almost like they got together and decided that in this debate they would dispense with all the personal attacks.

I am a Cruz supporter...but I have always said I would vote for Trump if he wins the nomination. This is the first debate where I can actually say that all of them together, and especially Trump...looked presidential on the stage.

“you guys can’t even see actual events happen right in front of your face.”

TV Stars lemmings are close minded and follow DT’s style of calling names and implications of bad morals. Projections of a projector.
