TRUMP SUPPORTER and So-Called ‘Low Information Voter’ Sarah Palin Responds to Cruz Attacks
GatewayPundit ^ | March 10, 2016 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 03/10/2016 3:48:59 PM PST by bobsunshine

Ted Cruz insulted Donald Trump supporters yesterday in an interview on the Christian Broadcasting Network.

Cruz thinks the Trump voters are stupid. Nice.

On Thursday Trump supporter Sarah Palin responded to the latest insults. “Cruz’s latest dig strays from humorous into downright nasty.” ....snip....

From Sarah Palin: GOP Majority Voters in Primary are Wayyyyyy Beneath Cruz, So Says Cruz

http://www.foxnews./…/cruz-says-trump-backers-have-relat…

Calling GOP frontrunner supporters "low information" disengaged voters, Ted Cruz's insinuation reeks of all the reasons America knows "the status quo has got to go." The arrogance of career politicians is something at which the rest of us chuckle, but Cruz's latest dig strays from humorous into downright nasty. Cruz is right, though - independent, America-first, commonsense conservatives supporting Donald Trump ARE "low information" when it comes to having any information on Cruz's ability to expand the conservative movement, beat Hillary Clinton, unify and lead the nation.

* Where's information on any Cruz success whilst in his short, half-term U.S. Senate seat, proving his resume's advantage over another career politicians's lawyerly executive inexperience that includes never having created a single private sector job, but boasting of his constitutional law teacher creds? (Remember America experimented with that resume before; how'd that work out for the country?)

* Where's info on his reasoning in inviting more illegal aliens to flood our porous borders by enticing families with benefits and literal gifts (like teddy bears and soccer balls)? http://theconservativetreehouse.com/…/ted-cruz-visits-texa…/

Good luck with that! Trump is all over the map for God’s sake and yet when Cruz identifies an element in the electorate that supports Trump. BOOM Trumpbots go haywire. So far from Trump: “We are going to build a wall...blah blah blah and Mexico is going to pay for it...blah..blah...blah and i am very successful...and I...I...I...I...You can’t make this stuff up!

In the country of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. In comparative terms, The Donald is probably about as “conservative” as most people in this territory once known as “the United States of America” can accept. Everything to the right of The Donald is simply invisible to them, shrouded in a miasma of misinformation, lack of personal insight, and a willingness to “go along to get along”.

But surely a very large number, perhaps even enough to conclusively provide an electoral victory in the 2016 Presidential election, are not at all interested in ANYTHING to the left of where The Donald stands. They want a period of consolidation, reconciliation, and redefinition of what they think America should be, as it has clearly been going in a badly skewed direction for a number of years now.

I believe it was Rush who first made up low information voter.

Now anyone call somebody who does not agree with them a low information voter.

I don’t think that was what Rush meant by it.

It was meant to be those who pay no attention to politics, aren’t interested except maybe they might vote in an election every four years. If they vote, they mostly vote the way their family always voted and pay no mind to policy. Many of these people are not stupid, they just don’t pay attention to politics. Could be because nobody has inspired them or peaked their interest.

Then there are many who are like the loons Jesse Watters interviews.

Doesn’t surprise if true. He never got over being beaten so badly and never appealing to hardly anyone. And the guy who believes that the pyramids were graineries will be a great addition to Chris Christie as Trump supporters.

“Palin responds to being called “stupid” by making clear she doesn’t know what the word “majority” means?”

Well, Cruz was right concerning Palin. She is pretty stupid.

“Wonder how long it is going to take Ms Palin to burn through her 30 pieces of silver...”

It was probably spent before she got it.

Cruz said a certain segment of Trump supporters that hadn't looked at all his inconsistencies were low information voters.

If you have looked at all Trumps inconsistencies and still support him, then your excuse is not ignorance.

Then what is my excuse? I'm on record as supporting Trump and up till now have never criticized Cruz and in fact have said that I will support him if he wins the primary. I have also been a strong advocator of nobody staying home and not voting simply because you don't like the candidate of our own party.

But with Cruz's comment and accusing me and others of being "low information voters" simply because we don't support him now, I'm going to find it very difficult to get out of my house on election day and go vote for him if he's the party nominee..........

That comment was uncalled for and I think he just sealed his fate...........

Not the first.

She endorsed McCain for his last run for senate, the biggest backstabbing RINO of them all. She chose her friendship over principle and the good of the country.

She’s been a long time friend of Trump too.

So was her endorsement of him due to friendship or principle?

What’s funny is you think you know for certain.

Are you actually denying that Trump held those positions?

Tell me again how Cruz's "inconsistencies" compare to Trump's?

What’s “funny” is your going to get what you voted for and then wonder what happened. Then we can revisit these these threads and discuss how bright that was.

What we are going to get is finally a Republican President who loves America and won’t apologize for it. No more milquetoast Presidents which Cruz would be.

You can’t win an argument with zombies. You can point out the falsehoods and move on. For them history starts with Trump’s latest utterance. It reminds me of the Clinton’s favorite excuse “old news”...
