“Cruz knows that after next Tuesday he’s toast. He will say or do anything to hang on.”

You know whether or not someone is a “class act” when their back is to the wall as is the case with Cruz. When he resorts to gutter tactics when facing defeat, you know what he’s really made of. And I just saw some of it when I took the dog out for a walk.

It’s kind of sad how he decided to side with the GOP-e hacks. I was originally a Cruz supporter myself until I realized that he wasn’t afraid of stabbing conservatives in the back using GOP-e lines in order to win.

When you have a Trump supporter sucker punching a protester, and then saying the next time he might have to kill him, and Trump supporters CHEER him; when you have Trump supporters roughing up protesters and you have the candidate approving and even offering to pay the legal bills for anyone arrested for attacking a protester; when you have Trump himself threatening to punch a protested in the face from the stage during a rally; then yes, I think you can safely say that the Trump campaign and many of his supporters share some of the blame for the potential for violence.

I haven't been following these events. I figured is was all an unimportant side show.

I see your list of supposed Trump and Trump supporter actions that supposedly make them partly responsible.

Now that the SIHingTF I will have to double check them.

Sometime in life you end up being really glad that your guy didn’t win. I was for Cruz 110 percent when he came out with his Courageous Conservatism, but Trump came out ten times stronger and I went with him. I thought Cruz might be a good Supreme nominee, even maybe a VP.......but now.....whew that was close........Thank you Donald J Trump.

Trump sacrificed HIS right to free speech in order to ensure the safety of those who oppose him to exercise THEIR rights to protest.

Trump is not a constitutional lawyer, but tonight he took the First Amendment from theory into reality, not in a courtroom but right in front of millions of Americans.

Agreed, Americans have freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. If groups attempt to prevent that, the U.S. military should eliminate them.

That was one old ass man. He can say anything he wants. He was arrested and charged.

That event does not translate into “let’s shut down Trump’s rally’? People are allowed to say anything they want in this country. End of story.

Trump is allowed to enforce our borders and put a moratorium on Muslim immigration. It’s common sense. To believe otherwise is political correctness brain washing.

I don’t know that you can blame Trump directly for the violence, but you cannot completely absolve him or his supporters, either.

I just watched it. Cruz is 100% correct.

He BLAMES THE PROTESTORS 100%.

But he then says a candidate has a responsibility not to create an environment of violence.

Trump has encouraged people to hit someone in the face. To me this is not something ANYONE should be encouraging, let alone a political candidate.

Look many of the Trump/Cruz people see their candidates in different ways. OK I can agree to disagree. But if we start to resort to violence when protesters show up, we are screwed.

I detest these protesters not letting Trump or anyone else speak. But if we resort to violence to silence them, how are we any different?
