Both Cruz and Rubio know when inflamatory rhetoric is used it leads to confrontation. The conduct of this election as evidenced by those so called debates which were reduced to cage matches. Where discourse on the direction of where and how these candidates would lead US is completely absent .In fact if one asks Trump supporters exactly what Trump will do they could not tell you . Because he has not done so in any specific way .His use of this rhetoric gets any discourse on the issues to be avoided,and from even being discussed. Which is what Cruz is reported to say here without being distorted amazingly enough in the Slimes..

I have read pretty much all of Coulter’s books and a couple of Trump’s. I just sent my sons a copy each of “The Art of the Deal”.

If a smart politician had half a brain, they would have denounced trump. Then savagely go after Bill Ayers. He’s the antithesis of Obama, Soros, Sanders, Clinton, moveon. Cruz whiffed. Is he Jeb Cruz now? He could have wrapped this incident around the neck of Trump and the socialists. Some great constitutional lawyer. He can’t even defend the first amendment. This is constructive criticism. A Romney moment that could have cost him a chance at the nomination.

2. Trump, we should stop Muslim immigration until we can figure out how to vet the bad ones Others: Oh no, we can’t do that, its not us but later. Yes, we should do what is necessary for our protection.
3.Trump, we need to control these protesters at our rallies, Others: Oh no, we think Trump is inciting violence but later Oh no, we just lost the election.
Jack Welch: Trump has every right to stop these protesters at his rallies, they want anarchy and we would lose out country. and BTW, Welch has endorsed Cruz but I would bet he is re-evaluating his decision.

Trump talked about punching protesters in the mouth, then was mostly silent when one of his supporters sucker punched a protester at a rally of his.
